Pirate Island Golf Ocean City — Attraction in Ocean City

We visited Pirate Island Golf in Ocean City a couple weeks ago. Our experience on the course was amazing. 18 straight holes that truly sucked us into the environment and had us ready to walk the plank by the time we reached the 18th green. However, the whole trip was elevated to another level from the customer service. As we approached the course and climbed the stairs to the pavilion, we were greeted by a young glowing woman, I believe her name was Ally. She was extremely friendly and informative. She took the time to speak with my two young children had them select their golf ball, special club, and had them ready to shiver some timbers on the course! We will definitely be returning to the course next summer, and we hope to see that manager again. My kids even asked if she could join us for dinner that night but unfortunately we had already...

Have been going here for 12 years on vacation in Ocean City. Always had a great time until yesterday. My wife does not golf, so she comes as a family experience with my sons and I and keeps score. We have many great photos of our time here. Yesterday we walked up the steps to pay and the man at the counter told us my wife could not walk with us unless she paid, even though she wasn't golfing. We have played mini golf in I believe 25 states to date and my wife has never played, has always walked and kept score for us, it's kinda like a family tradition. At the end of it all, we walked away without golfing and will never go back. For a place to turn down $40 to keep my wife off the course is beyond me.
