We stopped by Blue Cactus Taco Shop in Ocean City and were absolutely blown away. The new location is even better—spacious, cool, and perfect for groups with both indoor and outdoor seating.

There’s also plenty of parking right in front of the building, so no fighting for a spot like you do near the boardwalk—huge bonus!

We tried the crispy flour tacos (steak, surf & turf, chicken, and ground beef)—each one perfectly seasoned and delicious. The guacamole was creamy and fresh, and the taco dip (like a five-layer dip of pure goodness) was a favorite. The homemade chips came out warm and crispy—so satisfying.

And don’t skip the cilantro hot sauce—savory with just the right kick!

The owners and team were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, giving the place a homey, inviting vibe that really sets it apart.

Loved Blue Cactus when it was on the boardwalk, always one of our first stops. BUT, not sure what’s going on at the new location. Sat outside, put our order in, a few min later the waitress came back and said it would be about 30min wait. We only ordered a burrito and three beef soft tacos. It was busy but looked like a lot of people behind the counter. 30 min go by, no food. 40 min go by and no food. See a few people come in and get their food before us. 45 min no food. Meanwhile the waitress (HS girl) never came by to see if we needed anything or provide an update on our meal or apologize. At 50 min I go in and ask what the deal is, I was told 5 min. To my surprise it actually was 5 min. So, 55 min in and we get our tiny burrito and three tacos that had more lettuce and cheese than meat. Finished eating and went inside to pay because the waitress never came by to give us our check. I was kinda hoping they would maybe comp my soda or chips and salsa, but nope. So disappointed, think we’re over Blue Cactus...
