Bowfish Kids — Local services in Ocean City

The staff at Bowfish exceeded expectations for our family while visiting OCNJ for the week. My 6 year old daughter finally decided she was ready to get her ears pierced and friendly beach goers recommended Bowfish to us. Upon calling, we were disappointed to learn there was no availability while we were visiting. Within a few hours, Bowfish called (without us even leaving a request to call us, they just went above and beyond) indicating they could get us in.

Gabby, who had called back and did the piercing, was calming, patient, and thorough with previewing what the experience would be for both my husband and I, and my daughter. Any parent knows this can be a long anticipated experience and we are so thankful to say it couldn’t have gone better. We love this store…and visit every time we are at the Jersey Shore. It is a special shop, with quality merchandise and the nicest employees. My 8 yr old got her ears pierced there this year, and they were exceptionally patient and kind to her. They made the experience flawless (special kudos to Gabby). In prior years she also did the fun makeovers, which she loved. I would highly recommend Bowfish to anyone!!! (Note - If you do plan to get ears pierced there, plan ahead…they book up fast. Love this store! I don't have kids and have trouble shopping for children's gifts. The staff is so helpful. I'll tell them about the child I'm shopping for and my price range and they pick a thoughtful gift for me. The clothes have nice details like magnetic closures on onesies and super soft fabric. It's very cute in the store too and they are super creative and keep it interesting for kids...
