The first time I came to this location was during the day….. I was full happy and loved the food and customer service , the second time was tonight and my family did not get full the portion of rice was so little everyone probaly got 3 teaspoons of rice barely and the beans was portioned so little as well and looked a little old… the quesadilla that I ordered had only a few pieces of chicken … so then I proceeded to tell them how we was satisfied with our experience tonight the total was 61$ and I was not happy with the customer service at all :( do better please I really thought this was going to be my go to place with how well my first visit went and I’m not the type of person to leave bad reviews but as bad as I felt with this experience I had to …. My family left unsatisfied with only a 5$ discount so still paid about $57 for nothing …. I think we’ll stick to Chelinos where it’s only $30 bucks and a generous tip for their amazing customer service to get my family fullll . ;( I drive by this place everyday and was happy the first time I don’t know if it’s because it was late at night or what but please do better :/ I even spoke Spanish and told them

Lazy Donkey in OKC!!! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lazy Donkey, a new Mexican restaurant in OKC, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! We ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas, which were served in a unique and delightful way: inside a pineapple that had been cut in half and hollowed out. The combination of the juicy meats and the fresh peppers inside the pineapple added a wonderful tropical twist to the classic fajitas. Each bite was flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the shrimp cocktail, and it did not disappoint. It came with a generous amount of shrimp, each piece perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. A standout feature of Lazy Donkey is their habanero salsa, available upon request. Be warned, it's incredibly hot, but the flavor is out of this world! If you love spicy food, this salsa is a must-try. Overall, Lazy Donkey offers a fantastic dining experience with unique dishes and bold flavors. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy some top-notch Mexican cuisine in OKC!

Nice staff greeted us and seated us with no wait. Sarah was our server and took our order and did fantastic. Living on the NW side of town we wanted to go to the location we used to visit all the time in Moore...however this was 20 miles closer. We headed downtown hungry for Mexican and margaritas and super yummy cheese dip... Lazy pollo for us. Burger & taco for the girls. (Yeppers leftovers) Drank the peach margarita so fast didn't even get a picture of it. We got our food and it was piping hot after a short wait. Our order was accurate and we definitely will return when in the situation of hunger and in the area. I really felt valued with my interaction with the staff. They were pleasant and smiling....that goes a long way! Bathrooms were clean and parking was well lit. Thank you again for being awesome. Respectfully, Bryan Yukon Oklahoma

I love the Southside locations. This one I've been to a few times, and it's just been...alright. They don't give queso with the chips like many places do or relish. We asked for tortillas and butter. Got the store bought tortillas and no butter. We ate the chips and salsa. When the food came, we figured she noticed the empty salsa dishes we left by the edge of the table. She did not and left before we coukd mention it. We flagged her down eventually and asked for more salsa to have with our food. She said yes and never returned. We ran out of drinks as well. When she did return, she just handed us the bill and didn't ask if we wanted more drinks, dessert, how was it, nothing. Before we could ask for a to go box, she was gone. So my wife went up to her and asked for a to go box where she lingered most the time we were there with who looked like the manager. Speaking of which, id have to have my employees lingering somewhere else besides hanging at the bar. Like if they were checking all their tables I stead of obviously sneaking shots, this wouldn't be an issue. Wife asked if he was the manager. She explained the horrible service we received. He approached me and asked, and I said it was the worst service I received all year. He offered to comp the dishes. I declined the offer and left no tip, which is something I'm hugely against, but she was rude and that bad. Short black and silver hair girl. We litterally watched her check all her tables but ours in disbelief after awhile lol. A bad waitress can really put a bad taste in your mouth even if the food was decent. There was a language barrier, which is funny because I speak Spanish and when I did, she ignored me. Then when we left, there was a young girl at the front that said have a good night in English with no accent! Haha. Like..I'm being Punked right?! Where is the camera? Nope, just a foul way in running a restaurant is all. Won't be back to...

Restaurant was empty except for 1 other table. My buddy recommended this place so we stopped in to get some food and a beer. In my opinion, the food was overpriced. For what it was when you can go fifteen minutes down the street and get better mexican food for cheaper priced. But I was willing to overlook it and give it a try. Until I ordered a simple sloppy beer with some Tajin. When the lady brought our beers back, she left out the Tajin. And we simply asked if we could get some time. And she started getting lippy with us about how we ordered it. I don't think how we order the beer was anything special. And the fact that including us, there was only one other table in the restaurant. So they were far from busy, so it didn't seem like anything extravagant, they were having to do. So the lady brought Brought us new glasses with tajin on the rim. When I poured my beer into the glass. Not all of my beer would fit in the glass. I still had about a quarter of my beer left in the bottle. As soon as I set my beer down. She grabbed my bottle and walked away and I didn't even get my full beer. She didn't ask or say anything just reached over and grabbed it and walked off. I was just so completely dumbfounded at her customer service. When she came back a few minutes later, she asked if we would like to place an order. And I told her no. We just wanted to pay for our beers and we would be on our way. I do not recommend this restaurant to anybody and highly recommend you spend an extra 15 minutes going South on I 35 and go to some place like Ted's or chewy's. That is significantly better food and better customer service and better drinks all around. I think there's a reason why this place only had one set of customers and the other restaurants around them had...
