I showed up with my girlfriend to try this place out for the first time. I've heard it was good and wanted to try something new. When we showed up, no one greeted us or acknowledged we were even there till I walked up to someone and asked if we could get helped being seated. I told them it was our first time there, which was ignored and he just pointed at a table towards the corner to be seated. We sat there for at least 15-20 minutes, no drinks and no menus. After a while of staring the guy down he came over with a few menus finally but just tossed them on the table and immediately turned around and left like he couldn't be bothered by us. I don't usually like to leave a bad review but this was probably the worse service experience I ever had lol. We were prepared to spend a good amount of money on different dumplings and foods they had because we've never been there, but guess they didn't think my money was good enough 🤷♂️. I can't even tell you if the foods good or not but after seeing 6 small soup dumplings being priced at 12.99 per order, I dont care enough to find out anymore. After waiting another 10 minutes with still no drinks or any waiter/waitress to acknowledge our existence I just booked reservations at Spezia and we left. Won't ever be going back to this...
Read moreWe stopped by on a Tuesday night to try this place as they have recently opened. We had chili oil noodle, pan fried bun, soup dumplings, and strange taste wonton (that’s the name on the menu). I’ve had dim sum in many cities, but this is the best I’ve ever had. The strange taste wonton came out first. It was a slightly sour and savory broth. Not too spicy and everything was balanced just right. The wonton itself didn’t strike as homemade tasting, but it may have been. Next we had the pan fried bun. It comes with a crispy crunchy thin layer on the bottom. The bun is excellent and very soft. It has a bit of oil coating so it is a bit heavier than other items. The soup dumplings come with vinegar. The dumpling has a different texture that is slightly gummy but not in a bad way. The soup itself is very good. Lastly the chili oil noodle was the best noodles we’ve ever had. Clearly homemade and the texture and flavor are incredible. The broth is a bit spicy and not the best for sipping flavor wise. I would get all these items again, but maybe skip the pan fried bun since it’s...
Read moreMy husband had seen this place on TikTok so we decided why not try it. This place was good but I’ve had better. We waited about 15 minutes to get our drinks/order taken. We ordered a variety of dishes which in my opinion could’ve been stronger in flavor but we’re still good! The taste of the kung pao chicken was a bit bland, it tasted very similar to Chinese takeout food. The dumplings and bao were fresh and had good flavor but took the longest to get to us so by the time they came, we were done eating and full. My husband ordered the chili oil noodle which he said was very very good. This is not on the restaurant but there was a couple and their 2 kids sitting behind us who were just saying how weird some of these foods on the menu were and “how can someone eat something like that, eww”. If you are not used to different types of food, that’s ok..but to be so loud about it and downright obnoxious is very rude. Don’t yuk others yums and please learn some manners when going into a restaurant with food you’re not used to. Other than that, good experience, we will...
