Lewis & Clark Landing at The RiverFront — Attraction in Omaha

Very mixed feelings on this. It’s a great playground and finally playgrounds in the US are taking note of the seemingly everywhere else standards of fenced in and one entrance. I’m sure this is all nice when you know this place.

But wow visiting and trying to find your way around? Good. Luck. Signage is extremely lacking, and they made no effort to update Google maps with this area. I have no idea how new this area is, but it’s wildly inaccurate. Lakes in places they clearly don’t exist anymore. Pathways that aren’t shown. In park maps that only cover a small area and no idea what’s beyond that.

So is this a great area once you’ve dragged you whining kids around far too much just trying to find how to get into the playground that you can see? Yeah. But good luck...

THIS IS AN AWESOME ADDITION TO THE METRO AREA! BRAND NEW PLAYGROUND WITH NEW AGE EQUIPMENT, MAKING IT FUN FOR KIDS AND ADULTS ALIKE!! BONUS, IT'S FREE AND PARKING IS RIGHT UP FRONT AND AT NO COST. There are private family bathrooms, ànd water fountains in the summer, along with a little sandy area that has picnic tables so you can relax and admire the riverfront views. You can walk on the path that goes back n forth between the two huge parks, slides, and other outdoor attractions! There's an ice skating rink in the winter that converts to roller skating during the warmer months, and it's under $10 to rent skates and skate!! TON'S OF FUN! THIS IS OUR NEW FAV SPOT WITHOUT A DOUBT!! It's a little chillier being right by the water, so keep that in mind & dress...

Have always Ben drawn to the power of the River. I previously always went on "my" walks along the river front at night.previously at 2am to 3am. I have taken over 500 night time pictures of the bridge lights, which constantly change colors. I loved it down there... If you Google it. "Lewis & Clark Landing open 24 hours , with Bob Carey Pedestrian Bridge, which connects Nebraska to Iowa which bolsters 3300' end to end. Great for a 1 1/2 mile walk, all by its self. HOWEVER EVEN IF GOOGLE POSTS OPEN 24 HOURS.. FOR SOME REASON OMAHA CHANGED OUR END TO 7AM TO O N L Y 11PM . NOW CLOSED AT 11PM.. (even tying off the parking lots at 11:00 p.m., don't go visit after maybe the College World Series, if it runs late because it will be closed.. TOO BAD FOR...
