It was almost a 4...but... We arrived and there was one party sitting outside and two tables seated indoors. Plenty of room. We were the only patrons in line when we ordered.
The food was pricier than we expected, but we were excited about the "full english" breakfast on the menu. We ordered two cups of coffee and cups of water to go with our meal, and were told that water was not available - I assumed this was because so many people on I-Drive might come in asking for free cups of water without staying for a meal. But I was told the reason was because it caused "too much mess."
When the coffee was served (easily 20 minutes after we ordered), we asked for sugar (the cups arrived with four creamer packets). It took another 5+ minutes before someone came out to ask (again) what we needed (sugar). The breakfasts were okay - everything was cooked as ordered. But it took a very long time. Interestingly enough, when our food came out, several others' followed pretty quickly. It was almost as if perhaps someone in the kitchen was late and they were having trouble keeping up...then help arrived and food started flying out of the kitchen.
Anyway - yes, it was okay, and there is a nice patio where you can sit outdoors. Its I-Drive, so I assumed the $$ would be higher - but still seems pricey. Owner is nice - place...
Read moreI am and Orlando native but I live in Honolulu, HI but back here on a business trip and am pretty mad that I haven't ran across this sooner than I did because the food and service here is next to none. Im a big foodie, so trust me when I say that "this comfort food makes you you feel right at home" I ordered the pancake combo and I almost cried because they tasted like my grandmothers pancakes. They prepare the food super quick. Last but not least... The owners, Cedric and Therese Parys are really humble and down to earth and I think that is very important when running a business. The love they have for there customers is super genuine. This alone should tell you that is why they have been in business for 26 years and COUNTING. If you're ever on international drive in Orlando, Fl please put this place on your bucket list! You wont regret it.
Thank you Cedric and Therese, I can't wait to come back...
Read moreOrders English breakfast with fried eggs. It all tasted great and was cooked decently. No potatoes & not sure if there’s an option but they suited me fine. There is no table service. You look at the menu order and pay at the counter and sit yourself. They’re very efficient about clearing tables. Which is necessary because there are only 4 booths and 5 small (2 person) tables inside plus tables on the patio. Coffee was decent. It looks like a family run operation. Only negative is that it’s east to walk by. They have a big sign close by but, at first glance, nothing on their windows except pictures of ice cream. Look closer you see the picture of a breakfast. I would suggest to the owner that they purchase done window signs or stickers that announce World Cafe. Other than that great value if you want something...
