Let me preface this by saying I hardly ever leave reviews. TO THOSE COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN- LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR RAINY DAY FUN UNTIL THIS PLACE MAKES THE NECESSARY CHANGES. This place is truly sad. We have been coming here for 4 years, hosted multiple birthdays, and have had monthly membership going on 2 years. I am watching a once great place for families deteriorate to a stinky pile of garbage (emphasis on stinky) in front of my eyes. The workers who were once always full of smiles and interacting with the kids now just seem to be here out of necessity. Attitude is a reflection of leadership, and this stores managers attitude will tell you everything you need to know about it. He seems to always be in a sour mood. Like someone took a razor scooter to his shin. If my kids didn’t love coming we would have stopped coming a while back. To me the turning point was when Kevin and his lovely wife Wendy (and their cons) were fired. Which if that is true, and they were fired, what a complete lapse in judgment. They were AWESOME, and they were always interacting with children and the adults. I know there is a new jump park opening next to pier park so this place is quite literally on life support. It smells horrible. There are leaks everywhere (how’s this allowed in a jump park?), rips in the trampolines, floors sticky, and the HVAC is obviously failing because it’s 90 degrees in here (also leaks). Under the right management this place could flourish. I have actually met the owner of Just Jump, who is actually a very lovely lady, but I know she doesn’t live near. If she did I am sure she would make sure to make the necessary repairs. AGAIN….TO THOSE COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN- LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR RAINY DAY FUN UNTIL THIS PLACE MAKES THE NECESSARY CHANGES.
ETA- Why on earth do they sell alcohol? That is a recipe for disaster. Is there not enough places on the beach to drink? Why on earth would someone need to drink at a...
Read moreChicago Mom of two littles review... I'm always hesistant to take our kids to a new jump park, especially out of state. We have an Urban Air by us. It's nice enough but I wish we had Just Jump in Chicago!
Things we love about Just Air:
It is very well lit. We were able to see our 6 year old and 4 year old really well! It is wide open. I could see my kids on the other side. They have a 5 and under section. This is a big plus! It is geared for toddlers. There are small trampoline squares. A small foam pit, with a short rock climbing wall. There is a play structure with a few slides. It was great for my 4 year old, but she was probably too old. If you fall off something you fall into a foam pit. Which I think is much better, ball pits are painful when you're climbing out of them. I didn't see any height requirement for the activities, just age. Your ticket includes all the activities. You pay by time. They give out different colored wristbands to tell time. However, I did not see anyone telling people to leave. All staff were friendly and helpful. The manager, Will, made my daughter's day by helping her get a pink plushie from the claw machine. You can tell Will likes his job and understands the little things that make littles ones super happy. Thank you again Will!!
We went on a rainy Thursday in June. We figured everywhere we went would be super crowded. There were A LOT of people there but it was not crowded. There was plenty of space and plenty to do.
I felt 100% comfortable having my kids play there. My husband hates jump parks, but he really...
Read moreFirst time going, and as locals it most certainly won't be our last. I have 3 whom are 6below. And they had a terrific play area with plenty of room. 2 below is free and I think I paid 21 dollars for an hour and a half for my nearly 5 yearold. 2.75$ for the jump socks they have to have. But the older kids and even teens and adults have amazing areas as well with loads to do. Only complaint I had was they originally tried to over price me by nearly 30$ but they also let the bigger and older kids come to the little kids side and they just tore things up and shoved 2 and 3 year old babies out of the way and were just super super rude. They didn't make them leave the area until 20 minutes before our jump time was up. But otherwise all of the workers kept to themselves and cared more to talk to employees and mingle and gossip rather than manage the register correctly, I was not only over charged that had to be corrected, she opened the cash box and walked away and left the register completely unattended. I wasn't happy with the workers attuides that just stood at the counter. The ones who kept up with cleaning and such were in 100 times better spirits than any of the workers I experienced that day. But minus employee issues, we couldn't have been more happy for the time we got and the 25$ we paid to get that hour and a half, was very well worth it. I got nothing but smiles and laughs and mama watch me's. I do hope this company connects with its employees...
