Edgewater Villas resort — Hotel in Panama City Beach

I checked in at 530pm my bathroom had a puddle of water. I call guest services and it took about 2 hours for someone to arrive and check it out. After 5 minutes he says to me to call them back and tell them you have to move because I've turned off the water heater. I was moved to another room. I gather my things and make three trips to move my groceries and clothes. I go to work and when I return I am unable to enter my room the code didn't work. I call again, the lady tells me that the room was temporary and that I have to go back to my first room. So I state to her that I wasn't informed of that fact. I asked if they called to let me know that the room was fixed? She puts me on hold and then states that the roo. Is not ready and that I'll stay at room 2 until tomorrow. I would habe to move before another guests is due to check-into room 2. Room1 is still not ready the next day so after work I have to move again, but they didn't put me in a room that would be open until my reservation is over. I move to room 3 for another three days all the while being told that room 1 would be ready any day now. Finally 2 days before I am due to leave room 1 is fixed and I have to move again before the guests for room 3 check into the room. I will never be staying here again or use southern vacation rentals. Villa #2010 What an old, ugly and dirty place. Nothing like the pictures. This place is in deteriorated condition. All rugs are unsafe (slippery), old and dirty, pans are nasty (impossible to use them), the kitchen cabinets have a horrible smell, laundry center doesn't work, curtain are torn and dirty, sleep sofa is dirty, I had to buy an air bed to sleep on. The place has an electrical problem, none of the outlets work completly, you have to use the one on the bottom to get electricity. Living room and bedroom's light are connected to extension cords because switches don't work. For $350 per night, I spected at least a clean place. We called front desk since day 1 to let them know the laundry center wasn't working and they never fixed it. We were not prepared for such a long walk to the beach, but it was fine. The villas are actually across the street via an over the highway walkway. It's an older complex. It was fine for us. There were small pools for each section of the complex. There was one large slight heated outdoor pool. There were several tennis and pickleball courts and a very busy single basketball hoop.
