A group of friends and I bought the Royal Escape Room and Axe Throwing PCB combo and we were very excited for both. The Royal Escape Room was a great time, but the Axe Throwing was a horrible experience. As soon as I walked in and towards the check-in desk, I was not greeted properly or acknowledged until I made the effort to get their attention. Then, a couple of people in my group were told to rent shoes because of their non open toe policy (which is completely understandable). However, once they collected their shoes, the employees were very passive-aggressive towards them putting on the shoes. Once we were brought to the throwing station, the employee showing us what to do was treating us like we were wasting her time and annoying her. With a very unenthusiastic and annoyed tone, she immediately told us that “she was not going to talk over us” when she was about to start the tutorial. This made us feel like we were being treated like children as it was completely unprofessional. The entire time we were throwing, she was watching over us and telling us to not throw so hard. At first I thought that was understandable, but the group next to us was throwing the axes a lot harder than us with no comments made. Also, I watched as she whispered to another employee and point at us with an annoyed body language. We ended up leaving 15 minutes in to our hour long session as we were so disgusted by the way we were being treated. I have never felt so unwelcome to a place where I expect to have fun. The axe throwing aspect was very fun and I would love to do it again, but I will never return to this absolute...
Read moreI am not one to write poor reviews, but I hope to save another person time and money. We paid $180 for 6 people for 1 hour of throwing and got TWO axes’s total for SIX PEOPLE!! We were the ONLY people in the establishment, and could not get anymore axes’s or lanes. I asked to PAY for more axes’s and was told I could pay another $29 for ONE EXTRA AXE!! Absolutely ridiculous! If I was one person, I’d pay $29 and get 2 axes’s, but would have to pay $29 to get ONE EXTRA AXE not ever the 2 that should come with that price!! We throw axes’s as a family every vacation and have never seen this type of policy. The attendant was nice, and facility is decent. I’d say find another place that won’t waste your time or money. Or at the very least pay individually so that each person in your party gets 2 axes’s. However, they may still stick you and your party with 2 axes’s in total. Very disappointed in...
Read moreMy husband and I are visiting PCB. We had never been axe throwing and was excited to try it. That all changed when we arrived to the establishment and no one was there to greet us. We waited and finally a African American women appeared from outside with the rudest attitude I have ever encountered. She looked like she didn’t want to be at work and was annoyed she had to help us. This did put a damper on my experience. The staff needs to be engaging and pleasant upon the arrival of customers and they need to stay off of their personal cellphones until a break/lunch or the end of...
