Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort (Conference Center), Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach, FL — Hotel in Panama City Beach

I was there for a Luncheon, which was part of a conference being held nearby. I paid $50 for the Luncheon and an additional fee (almost $7 for three hours) for parking in a non-star spot. Star spots or valet parking cost more.

The room and facilities were beautiful and clean. The restrooms also clean and nice.

The food was served buffet style and was very good but not exceptional. Assuming they intended one chicken breast per person, they were quite small. Thankfully, there were some good sides, salad, and a variety of desserts from which to choose.

The sound system they had was adequate for the size crowd and room.

The servers kept our drinks filled (iced tea, water and coffee).

Overall, it was a nice Luncheon, though I thought it over-priced. I was surprised we had to pay extra for parking after paying so much for the meal. I was tempted to give them 3 or 3 1/2 stars because...

Just went to the Dance Competition, which was held at the Event Center. Very large amount of people there, and not enough seating was available. However, the facility is fantastic, and the staff is very nice. Definitely not enough parking for such an event. The overflow parking isn't that far away and they send a golf cart, aka Tram, around to those areas repeatedly. Just wish there was more seating in the large room. In their defense, there were over a thousand dancers at the least, not including their families. Was just a large amount of people in attendance.

The pool for the resort is huge if you stay here, and the resort is on...

We had an event there and the staff is amazing. Ms. Mary was AWESOME, sweet and very professional. Pamela was GREAT with all of our questions and accommodations. Vicki was very attentive to our setup needs and just a phone call when needed. Chris and his crew was A+++ during our event and the breakdown after the event was amazing. The gentleman handling the parking for our guests was great and really nice (sorry I forgot his name). Ms. Mary and Chris was available the entire night which help made our event a huge success.
