Sunspot Realty Vacation Rentals — Attraction in Panama City Beach

April 30 of this year my husband and I booked a week in a condo on the beach to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We had never stayed right on the beach before so we were so excited and looking forward to a very special week on the beach, so close we could walk out our door and be on the sand. When we arrived at the condo, there was no internet, which I needed for work, the TV didn't work, the dishwasher was broken, there were very dirty dishes which had been put up in the cabinets. Sunspot got the TV working later that day, the internet was fixed in about 2 days, but the dishwasher was not fixed until after 4 days. BUT the worst thing was that there was construction equipment all over the beach the whole week. The county (or whoever) was "reclaiming the beach." We're talking many pieces of large construction equipment right in front of our condo! After the first day, the beach was roped off so that we had to walk 100-300 yards (depending on the day) to get to the beach. Even then there was the construction noise 24 hours a day. All beach owners had been notified of the work. Sunspot KNEW this construction would be going on but we were not notified at all before we went. We paid for a place on the beach but we did NOT get a place on the beach because it was inaccessible. We told Sunspot we were not happy but they didn't offer to move us or give a refund or anything. We have been trying for the last 2 1/2 months to get some kind of refund, anything at all, but all we have received is the "run-around!" We feel that we were taken advantage of and cheated by Sunspot Realty and we will never book...

We stayed at Sea Oats in October and let me tell you this house is a MUST! This was our first time using Sunspot Reality and they did not disappoint! I loved that it’s still “old school” check in! You get to physically talk to someone at check and get the keys! Everyone there was AMAZING! Hands down the best customer service we have experienced when coming to PCB or Destin! The house was great! Very clean! It’s not the most updated but I loved that because I wasn’t on constant alert that my children were going to ruin the new white couch! I loved the fact every bedroom had a bathroom! One bathroom shower wasn’t working, however it was perfect for the kids bath so no complaint ◡̈ the Distance from the house to the beach is beyond words! My 6 year was able to run to the house grab his toy he forgot and run back and I could see everything it was doing! Only thing we wished there was was a covered back porch for when it rained we could sit outside still! But don’t let that stop you from booking this house!

I am beyond happy with Sea Oats and everything this company did for us for our family vacation! We can’t wait...

Very poor unamerican company during the gulf oil spill this company did its best to make money off of those who were affected by The Spill. We had a rental through them. They emailed us and said the beaches would be closed it would probably be a waste of our trip to come. And asked if we wanted to cancel. They said we would not incur any charges. Then when we received our refund from our deposit it was only half. When we contacted the place they told us we canceled that was in the agreement we had sign. They did not recall telling us we would not be charged if we canceled it did not recall emailing us and letting us know the beaches would be closed. Even though I sent them a copy of the email they still refuse to refund the rest of my deposit. If I could rate a -10 high. Save your money and go with a company who cares about the American people and the veterans who defend this...
