Absolutely amazing! My husband and I were only in town for four days and ended up doing TWO rooms!! We started with Scooby-Doo, which was a wonderful nostalgia trip. The room was so cute and had so many references to the old show. It was moderate difficultly, as in we finished with a decent amount of time to spare. We both bought tees for this one as well. The designs were awesome. We has so much fun that as soon as we finished the room, we decided to book a room for the next day. And to our delight they told us there was 50% off the room since we were instantly re-booking for the next day! Unfortunately, my husband and I got caught up on Cades Cove the day of our appointment and realized we wouldn't be able to make our reservation. We called ahead and they assured us that we'd get it sorted whenever we arrived. We got there 30 minutes late, but Escapology was nice enough to let us switch our reservation for the same room to a time the next day at no additional cost! We were so excited that we would still get to do the room we had our hearts set on. The second room was 7 Deadly Sins, which was definitely different than Scooby-Doo. It was more difficult, as we used several hints and still barely managed to escape in time. I'd also be aware of jumpscares for this room (loud noises, flashing, scary imagery). I'd also like to give shout-outs to Madi and Eva, who made both experiences especially great for us! We definitely plan on coming back next time we're...
Read moreVery underwhelmed with the lack of difficulty there is in these escape rooms, we did our second one at this location tonight and completed the room in 21 minutes, with only really getting caught up on one puzzle and we were just over thinking it. To add onto this, there was a puzzle that was not fully reset in our room and I let it be known to our game guide and nothing was even done so we just closed the door and waited until the puzzle unlocked the door like it was suppose to. We paid $212 for four of us to do the new "A Pirate's Curse" room that we have seen advertisement recently on social medias. We were all excited for the hype that was being built behind this escape room as for we are avid goers of escape rooms and have completed almost all of the different companies rooms in the area. But I will say we will most likely not be going back to this one to complete any more escape rooms. We completed it like I stated in 21 minutes and the host comes in and says wow I cannot believe how fast you completed this and hands us wristbands. I appreciate the completion merch but it almost seemed like a slap in the face for how much we just paid versus how easy and quick it was to get out of that room, especially with how heavy its been advertised locally on social media. For it to be one of the most expensive if not the most expensive escape room in the area, it would be nice for it to be more difficult/more puzzles/more rooms in...
Read moreY’all. Let me just tell you real quick about the absolute chaotic brilliance that is Escapology in Pigeon Forge. If you’ve never voluntarily locked yourself in a room with your most dramatic relatives and tried to solve puzzles with a ticking clock mocking you the entire time…you’re missing out on peak family bonding.
We booked one of their escape rooms on a whim (because who doesn’t think high-stress decision making is the perfect vacation activity?), and I’m now convinced I missed my calling as a code-breaking FBI agent with a flair for flair pens and wild guesses.
Every single detail—from the mind-bending puzzles to the immersive themes—was chef’s kiss. The rooms? Not just slapped together with some random locks and a fog machine. No, ma’am. This was like stepping into an actual action movie…minus the danger and with way more yelling, mostly from me.
The staff? 10/10. They were the perfect combo of helpful and “let’s see how long y’all flail before we give a hint.” It was giving sass and support. We love that in a game master.
If you’re anywhere near Pigeon Forge and you don’t stop by Escapology, what are you even doing with your life? Go get locked in a room with your people. Shout over each other. Make questionable decisions. Bond forever.
And wear comfy shoes. You’ll need ‘em. Also maybe stretch first. Escaping is apparently a full body sport now.
5 STARS. WOULD ESCAPE AGAIN. (If they’ll let me back after all...
