The Escape Game Pigeon Forge — Attraction in Pigeon Forge

Our family loves escape rooms and we’ve been to several before. We checked around a bunch of places around Pigeon Forge and we ended up choosing The Escape Game in the Island. We loved their escape rooms so much that we ended up doing 3 of them over a couple days (They give you a discount on subsequent games if you book more within a day or two).

Not only did this business look higher quality than the others we checked out, but at the price it was also cheaper per person somehow.

The quality of the set design, integration of the screens and interconnectivity with the games (Cosmic Crisis and Timeliner especially). We were blown away by all of it enough to spend more money with them and come back three times.

We also highly recommend their sister business Great Big Game Show in the same plaza. Such a super unique experience to be a part of your own family game show! Love these places and we will be back in coming years for sure to knock out the other rooms!

Our reviews of the rooms in order of how much we loved them:

Cosmic Crisis (The most fun we had and required the most team work in unison. Our 6 year old loved Hermes the computer AI that helped you during the game)

Timeliner (A bit more difficult but had a super cool time travel theme that we loved and the sets are wild! Such a fun time!)

Gold Rush (This one was fun as well, however it was the simplest by far and we solved it without any clues at all with an extra 20 mins to spare) It’s worth doing maybe if you’re a beginner?

So my experience here was well above a 5 out of 5, more of a 20 out of 5. I called The Escape game in Pigeon Forge, because I wanted to do something special for my girlfriend. I called them with the idea of proposing in one of their rooms, because we would be spending the holiday in Pigeon Forge, and 1/1/19 would be 2 years to the day of me asking her to be my girlfriend. This time I wanted to ask her to be my wife.

Not only were they over the moon with the idea of an escape room proposal, they started helping me plan the possibilities. Then when the day came, they helped me plant my letter to her in the room before everyone arrived, not even giving away any puzzles! This way she would find the letter as we were about to escape. They are so incredible, they even hid a go pro to film the proposal, and gave me the footage. I could not have been happier because I know they have to keep the insides of their rooms a secret. So the fact they sent me this moment, was incredible. I cannot speak higher of this team, or the company.

So: Caroline, who gave me several great initial ideas Johnny, who quickly sent me a copy of the Go Pro Footage and lastly but not least Cody Chapman, who sent me a thumb drive with all the different angles of the proposal, from the deepest place in my heart, thank you for helping my soon to be wife, and I remember this day for the rest...

The Escape Game Pigeon Forge: A Honeymoon Highlight!

What an absolute gem we discovered on our honeymoon! The Escape Game in Pigeon Forge wasn't just fun—it became one of our favorite memories together as newlyweds.

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like VIPs. When they learned we were honeymooners, they added a special touch inside one of our games and even gifted us with The Escape Game swag! Our game masters were helpful and genuinely invested in seeing us succeed, offering just the right amount of guidance when needed.

The escape rooms themselves were impressively designed with attention to detail that truly transported us to another world. We completed both Cosmic Crisis and Gold Rush, with Gold Rush being our absolute favorite! It featured lots of lock and key puzzles that my husband and I are familiar with and love solving together.

What truly set this place apart was how the team made our visit feel special and unique to us. These thoughtful gestures transformed what could have been just another tourist activity into a standout honeymoon memory we'll cherish for years.
