I was craving a juicy cheeseburger today and had this restaurant saved in my “try” list because of the high reviews. It’s a simple spot in a strip mall. It looked like a cute and unique spot with lots of interesting menu options so I was hoping it would be incredible. Sadly, nothing about my experience was good. The music was so loud when I walked in, I couldn’t hear the cashier mumbling to me and they were leaned on the counter. Apparently, they were telling me the menu could only be accessed with a QR code. That’s fine with me… I’d already decided before I arrived. After ordering and paying, I saw the paper with the specials. The cashier hadn’t pointed this out when she showed me the WR code. I would have picked the French Dip type burger instead…but based on the quality of my food, it wouldn’t have mattered. It took around 10-15 minutes for my food despite being the only one waiting on an order. There were 3 people eating inside. I got my order to go but only had to drive about 5 minutes so my food was still hot. The fries were the first thing I dug into. Sadly, they were inedible from the amount of grease. They had no other flavor. Also, why was the sour cream crusted onto the fries if they’d just been made? I’m not sure what the seasoning was…it looked like pieces of dried rosemary… but they gave no flavor and just an additional bad texture. The burger was a large size. It was more rectangular than round. Unfortunately, it was also incredibly greasy and bland. The pickles and mustard were the only things with flavor. Now, I don’t mind some good greasy food now and again. This was not the good type of greasy, though. I’m really disappointed I wasted $18 on something I couldn’t even eat. I would have been better off going through the McDonald’s drive thru. From the depressing atmosphere and service to the low quality, poorly prepared food, this is a place I’d suggest you avoid.

Stopped by to grab a snack after some shopping. We got a 4 pack of bites: 2 Chocolate chip cookie dough bite, 1 Reese cookie dough bite, 1 white chocolate raspberry cookie dough bite, 1 Chocolate shake, and 1 order of the Frytato. When we Walked in we browsed the cookie dough bites and were greeted by an employee behind the counter that pointed out we could sit while we browsed the paper menu. The employee that took the order was friendly and helpful. The food came out maybe 5 minutes later, and the shake a minute after that. I asked for it To-go but there was no utensils so the employee grabbed me some and we were on our way. Once settled at home we tried the fries and they were okay, 4/5. I felt the quanity could have been more and more sour cream. The seasonings were great though, very flavorful. Cookie dough bites are a heafty serving, great size for price. I liked the chocolate chip one, 5/5. The white chocolate raspberry was somewhat of a let down. 3/5 The raspberry sauce tasted like it was stale, like hard or something, and there's not a lot of it - I wouldve liked more drizzle for a bigger punch of flavor or have maybe a ball of it inside the cookie dough to keep it from sitting out and getting hard on top, I feel like it could be reworked. The chocolate shake looks amazing, but it's definitely for super chocolate lovers only. Very syrupy taste. 3.5/5. Also, the shakes are not listed on the paper menu nor is there a menu board inside the store, so I had to hunt down the shake menu on their website. Overall I would definitely come back at another time to sit down and eat inside while it's hot and fresh to try the burgers and some other items on their menu. I absolutely love the fun burger and food names on the menu, really cute details. The inside of the restaurant looked clean, along with the counter/drink fountain.

We are local and have been here a couple of times. Today will be my last! We came in and there was a line, so we stood in line. There was food and napkins and menus and all sorts of stuff on the floor. I just thought, how do people do that when they go places...🤢. so i told the cashier there was literally food all over and none of the tables had been cleaned the entire time we had been there. She told a boy to go clean the dining area. He literally wiped 3 tables with the same rag, never rinsed it, nothing. Sent what was on the tables on the floor and went to the back. I then told the guy at the hamburger light area the same thing. I saw people leaving, which I am wishing we would have at this point too.

Kid came back out and wiped 4 tables, sending more food to the floor and went back. I went up again, he needs to sweep...gross! So, we got our food and we're talking about if the dining room is this gross, i wonder what the kitchen looks like.

Hubby went to cut hamburger in half and (I am 🤢🤮 gagging as I type this) and black hair was in the middle of the hamburger. None of the staff were wearing hair nets, beards and such not covered. And the other thing that bugged me was that food was put under the lights and customers would come to that area for catchup or whatever. Now these people are breathing their germs right on top of my food and getting closer to it than a person AT MY TABLE WOULD. They are literally almost touching the food...GROSS!

so for me...I am out! I do not want cold germs and grossness near my food. Even a buffet has a glass shield barrier to the food. If someone sneezes in this place, those germs are all over whatever is sitting at the edge of the counter there....so hard to write this and not have stomach turning.

I was sick all night and I am sure a lot of it was from what we saw and experienced. We tried to give them the benefit that there had been a line. But when a boy comes out to wipe tables 3 times, no sanitizer, no water bucket and doesn't sweep until he is told he needs to, then leaves and there is still food?!?!?

Half ass cleaning out front where we can all see means half ass plus more in back where they are not on best behavior! Black hair in food can only come from people in kitchen with no hair covers. It was INSIDE the hamburger when it was cut.

And I didn't take a picture because I literally was trying not to puck! You Can try it if you want but gross and unclean will lead to things no one wants to eat and there are too many choices in this area to wait for something that will make you sick! I will take my business to a place that at least cleans the front of the house and follows the health department rules on hair coverings. It is my biggest "not anymore" rule...hair in...

Okay, so I'm ranking this place a 4 instead of a 5 because the environment looks quite stale. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING THOUGH! I believe in this town, location is key, and this isn't a good location, and the name Cookie Dough Monster isn't one to think of as a " restaurant ". I've lived here 20 years and haven't noticed it one time, nor had I heard of them. And my step-sister worked next door, been rt there, and still have not noticed them. The name isn't the best If this place was located better, with a new name and classier environment, holy crap it'd be a 100% better. This place has you serve yourself. There is no waitstaff, which is fine by me, but no one told us that, so we just sat forever before we saw you order and pay at the register. You get a lil number and they'll call it out when ready. Good to know. Also, I was told there wasn't a restroom which violates the law and I didn't appreciate walking down the strip to an odd restroom that was 150 degrees and not really close, so to simply wash your hands, you'll need to be absent from the table quite long I thought. Also hope you're not in a hurry. There was only one cook. It was a normal amount of wait time I thought though. The burgers are exceptionally good and the sweet potato French fries with the Carmel, omg amazing! We didn't have dessert but a regular there told me the brownies are the best she's ever tasted in her life! Don't get me wrong, it's a great place and clean. We thought a bit pricy for the space , not crazy expensive though. Hey , you get what you pay for, right. Its worth it guys! Reminds me of something off of the beach kinda. And it was really cold.. but I say go there, especially if you're a burger person!! They have funny names for the like 15 different burgers and you can get chicken stuff under the " mother cluckers" which was funny. Extremely casual and no need to get fixed up. I can appreciate that. I'd be upset if someone took me there on a date though, I'm not gonna lie.. I'm being extremely critical bc I am extremely honest and I say things I wish I knew before going there. I mean no harm. Sometimes people can use it to their advantage to boost business, the rest get offended. Cool lunch...
