Ahoy, landlubbers and seafarers alike! My kin and I, weary from our travels, dropped anchor in the bustling port of Pigeon Forge. 'Twas there my young buccaneer, with a heart set on high seas adventure, led us to a place where the Jolly Roger flies free and the siren's song beckons—the 18 Hole Under the Sea Mermaid Golf Adventure and its skyward twin, the 18 Hole in the Clouds Sky Pirate Golf Adventure. From the moment we stepped foot on this fantastical course, 'twas clear we were in for more than a mere game of putt-putt. Real pirates, as salty as the sea itself, roamed the greens, regaling us with tales of treasure and daring escapades. They jousted with words and wit, making us feel part of their roguish crew. In a chamber adorned with ocean's treasures, a mermaid of ethereal beauty awaited to capture memories with our young one. Her smile, as enchanting as the lore that surrounds her kind, was a siren's call to all who sought the whimsy of the deep. The courses themselves—a marvel to behold! The Under the Sea Mermaid Golf Adventure plunged us into the briny depths, where the vibrant flora and fauna of the ocean floor played host to our merriment. Beware, though, for the Kraken's shadow looms large, adding a thrill to each stroke! Ascending to the clouds, the Sky Pirate Golf Adventure had us navigating the airy domain of legendary sky pirates. With each putt, we soared higher, our spirits lifted by the challenge and the breathtaking vistas of Mermaid Bay below. In sum, this be no ordinary round of mini golf; 'tis an odyssey that tests both mettle and mirth. For families seeking adventure, or simply a respite from the doldrums of the everyday, I say set sail for Pigeon Forge. Here, the pirate's life awaits, and with it, memories that'll be cherished long after the last putt has sunk.

The course was new and well thought. It was fun and had lots of photo ops. Unfortunately a big rain came through while we were on the course. The problem was it flooded the course. Not just a little flooded, walking through water and balls floating in the holes flooded. We went down and told the cashier that the course was flooded and she called someone else over and they were both just like "ok, thanks for letting us know." I mean I know they don't control the weather but a rain check or offering to let us play the indoor course is inside their control. Some sort of customer service to remedy the situation would have earned them an extra star. It is one of the pricier places in the area. They just need to train the staff how to make a good customer experience. **Update removing another star: I contacted the management as per their response and they never responded to us with the promised rain check. So this appears to be a lack of customer service from management down. Given the cost of their course is almost double the other courses, I wouldn't recommend them as a first choice for mini golf in the area.

This place is one of the best putt putt places we have visited. It has a plethora of snacks, a loaded gift shop with lots of choices, dress-up photo with makeup area for boys and girls, employees are themed....seriously, its like the Disney or Universal version of putt-putt. There are 2 courses to choose from, pirates themed is on the roof outside, mermaids themed is indoors. I HIGHLY recommend an umbrella or personal fan while playing on the pirates course as the temps can be really crazy hot and there is not a ton of shade and no fans. (Hopefully they will add some at some point but there aren't any currently.) The courses are creative and highly decorated. The indoors mermaid one is extra fun because it has additional challenges for each green. There are many photo ops and great course challenges. We loved it here. Spent about 1.5 hours per 18 holes, 4 adults.... Our kids went in front of us and they got done just a hair quicker like 1.15 hours per 18 holes. Just a real fun time and nice quality indoors activity.

UPDATE: changing my 2 stars to a 5. Sky Pirates called me the day after this review was originally posted. They were very apologetic about what happened, and got me refunded right away. I greatly appreciate their attention, and we'll definitely be back to play another round of mini golf next time we're in PF! 😀

The golf itself is really great. We played both courses, and loved the theming and designs on each! It's nice to see a mini golf place have both an indoor and outdoor course option!

My reasoning for the 2-stars is due to what came after we finished. We made a couple of purchases in the gift shop. It wasn't until a few hours later after we had left town that I realized that on one of the receipts, I was charged for an item that I didn't purchase. My guess is that it was an accidental scan, or maybe they were doing a price check for somebody and forgot to void it. I called the place and was told to call back on a weekday because then their IT person would be able to look up my receipt and camera footage to see what happened. When I did this, they gave me the runaround until I mentioned the IT person. So I gave them my info, as well as all of the receipt numbers, and was told to expect a callback in a couple of days. I figured that, even though I paid with cash on that specific transaction, they could just find one of the other receipts where we paid with a card and refund me the amount. Well, it's been 2 weeks now and I haven't heard a peep from anyone, and I don't think I'll be getting that money back.

So while I would definitely recommend this course for your PF mini golf experience, I highly advise you to double-check what you are paying/have paid for. Maybe this location will be nice and give a little kid a free game or something at my...

Visited on my birthday, 5/15 at 7pm My family has came before on grand opening, but this night was so terrible that I got a refund and left. You walk in, the entire lobby and course was filled with thick fog from the fog machine. Thinking it was just the lobby, we proceeded to enter the indoor course. It was so foggy, you couldn’t breathe. No air circulation whatsoever. Breathing in unnatural fog. I go to the front desk to ask them to turn off the “smoke machine.” the young girls went to another extremely young manager to tell her. Literally witnessed them laughing! So unprofessional. They come back to tell me “it’s fog, it’s not smoke” like I’m stupid. I told them I’m aware it’s not SMOKE, can you turn it off because my husband has breathing problems as it is. Then they go back, more laughing, playing tag with this blonde female manager. INSTEAD OF HER COMING OVER TO SPEAK TO ME. Finally, she had the courage to come over and tell me, “She can’t turn them off, they’re on an automatic timer” so you’re saying nobody in the building knows how to unplug a machine for your guests complaining? Guess not. She handled it very poorly, she should have came to me the first time, instead of sending other teenagers to tell me, and the laughing was the icing on the cake! What a joke. Back and fourth arguing over a stupid machine. I walked off, grabbed my family, got a refund and left. As a new store, take away the smoker! It wasn’t always there! Completely beyond ridiculous to have a fog machine INSIDE...
