The two stars is simply because the manager tried to do the right thing and comped the food after the horrible experience. I only hope that our waitress finds another line of work, tomorrow. If they try to seat you with Erica, take some advice and ask for someone else. We walked in around 1:45 p.m. It was fairly slow, we got seated right away. We had a big party, but got our drinks and orders in as soon as they came to the table. Our waitress was rude when we asked for more straws (we were several short), which was strange, but we blew it off. We didn’t see her again until an hour later when she came by to ask about refills. By this time we were ready for our food, and asked where it was. The response was “It’s not ready.” When we pointed out it had been about an hour, she said “What do you want me to do, go ask them?” Yes, we do. She was very inconvenienced by this request, but obliged. When she came back her response was, “It’s in oven.” When we asked again how long (that was the original question), we were told “orders don’t just come out, that’s not how this works.” She then threw her hands up in exasperation. At this point we were ready to walk out and go elsewhere. We approached the manager and explained the wait and attitude we received, and he said he would handle it. When we got our food about 15 minutes later, the majority was burnt pretty badly. At this point we were ready to eat anything, and declined to have it remade (we couldn’t wait another hour). We did eat most of it, even the burnt pizza and calzones. I’m guessing it was taking so long because they were overcooking everything? Thankfully the manager took over making sure we were taken care of, and he did comp the meal which we appreciated and did not expect. When we were leaving Erica gave us a nice one finger wave while vaping with the other hand, letting us know she appreciated our feedback. I hope she finds somewhere else to work soon. I know people have off days, and I believe that giving people grace is the way to go. I can only assume Erica was never taught how to properly handle long wait times with customers, or maybe what to do when they need another straw. I guess it was too much to expect her to have a rough estimate of when our food might be ready. While I would hate to let one person ruin your view of an entire establishment, I have to say Erica left a burnt taste in our mouth...

I wanted to like this joint, I really did! The food was interesting but okay. The service was decent. Until it came time for the bill- my kids were going to share pizza with my husband and I but we seen the kids meals came with a drink and a side for only 6.50 ea so we opted to let them choose their own meals. When the bill came we were charged for the kids drinks, organic milk was out in place and two drinks charged, the kids didn’t have milk, we thought it was an accident on the servers part until he informed us that he had to put a drink in the computer and charge us for the drinks. I brought it to his attention that the menu says includes drinks and he said that’s just what I have to do. Not let me get my manager. Apparently they just train their employees to rip people off. It’s only a few bucks, but still if you changed your policy and you can’t afford to change the menus at least let customers know, don’t try to trick and cheat them. Integrity goes a long way, even though it was just a few bucks I feel cheated. I would have spent the $ on just drinks and made them share pizza instead of on their own plates and drinks had I known. If you are a parent looking for affords family dining , don’t let the kids meal prices fool...

I've eaten Mellow Mushroom a few times when they had a location in Murfreesboro. This was my first time at the Pigeon Forge location. Staff is friendly. Our server Niles was absolutely outstanding, not just with us, but I watched him with a few other tables. I was very impressed with that young man.

Not sure how old this location is but it appeared that some of the booths had been remodeled. The seating on the booth looked pretty new as if it had been reupholstered. I mention that because it looks beautiful, but when you sit down, it felt like the cushioning needed to be replaced. We could feel the springs underneath us as we sat in the booth.

We ordered oven-roasted wings. These were mediocre and were just warm when they arrived. The serving plate they used was like a melamine plastic and didn't hold temperature well.

Mighty Meaty pizza was pretty good. I really liked that they didn't skimp on the toppings. I would have liked the crust to be a bit thicker. When it's thin, the slice won't support all the toppings. Still a very good pizza. Also, they have a peach tea that is one of the best I've ever had. If we could have taken a gallon home with us we would have. Really well run. Bathrooms were clean. Definitely...

We had tried Mellow Mushroom at The Island location in June of 2020. I had the Holy Shitake pizza and remember it being so good that I had trouble stopping. I was happy we were making the trip back down to TN (we come about once a year) because I had been craving a really good pizza. We were going to grill at our cabin for dinner but a rainstorm canceled those plans and we ended up at the location right on the strip. As soon as we walked in I looked over at the huge fireplace and it was filled with glitter lamps. Loved that. The atmosphere is kind of what you'd expect "trippy hippie colors and vibes". Our waitress was friendly and efficient. I ordered my Small Holy Shitake pizza. My husband ordered the Mighty Meaty and buffalo wings. We shared the large Greek salad. My pizza was everything my memory said it was. And the salad hit my Greek Salad craving perfectly. My husband said the wings were delicious but he wished he'd gotten the hot buffalo. He said the original just didn't have any kick. He enjoyed his pizza. I'm glad our grilling plans got put off because I was soooo pleased with our meal.
