Ok, listen. I rarely write reviews, but need to share my incredible experience with Jamie! If you are on the fence about having your eyebrows done, GO TO JAMIE WOOD. I have always been meticulous when it comes to my eyebrows, so I was terrified to have them microbladed. (We’ve all seen and heard horror stories..) But when I came across JWood brows, I saw nothing but beautiful work and glowing reviews. I met with Jamie and bombarded her with a million questions and concerns, and she answered every one professionally and patiently. She sketched out the style she suggested for me on a piece of paper and explained in detail why it was the best option for my particular brows. Her studio is as clean and sterile as a surgical suite, so that made me feel at ease right away. And believe me when I say, TRUST HER JUDGEMENT. I had literally zero eyebrow hair, so she had to reconstruct the shape from scratch. I thought I knew exactly how I wanted my brows to look, but Jamie knows best!! She takes precise measurements of your face, eyes, brow bone, etc. and she’ll show you how your brows should look with your face shape and coloring. I trusted her, and am SO GLAD I DID. I have never had so much confidence in my brows and have never received so many compliments in my life. My best friend (who is brutally honest and would absolutely tell me if I looked a mess), still raves about my brows every time she sees me. I can’t tell you the freedom I feel in leaving the house with confidence and not worrying about bringing a brow pencil with me in case I accidentally scratch, sweat, or rub my brow makeup off during the day. I have wanted my brows done for a VERY long time but was always to scared! After about two years doing a lot of brow research on different techniques and looking into tons of pictures I came across J Wood Brows I loved all of Jamies work but I was still so scared, in November my boyfriend and kids gave me the money for my birthday knowing this was a big insecurity of mine and I was just so tired of having to draw them on everytime I put make up on I am a busy mom with kids in sports and work full time so I felt it was time to finally do it! I called Jamie and set up the appointment, She talked to me like we had been friends for years and made me feel so comfortable she told me she felt combo brows would look best I knew they were gonna be beautiful as soon as she mapped them out on my face she explained every step in detail before starting I have heard in the past it can be painful and let me tell you I totally freaked myself out! I just completed the 100-hour Lash and Brow Tech program at PIA Institute, and I can’t recommend it enough! Taking the course with Jamie in her English class was an incredible experience.
