Worst customer service ever! Came in to try this monstrosity out right after work; mind you that means around 5:30, which according to the sign they claimed to be open. Not a single person was there, and I can see why, as the staff wouldn't even acknowledge my presence with a simple "hello". They all seemed to hate working there, but I guess when the entire staff is made of teens who clearly don't want to be there, you can't expect much better; although the 40 something guy who could have possibly passed off as the assistant manager (?) held the same vibe. Once again, no acknowledgement, no nothing... I had to figure out on my own that you have to order on the kiosk yourself (non-verbal policy apparently). I only ordered fries, and they took an insanely long time to make; remember there is literally no other customers present. When they finally were made, the "server" behind the counter didn't even make eye-contact and mumbled something that could have translated into confirming my order was ready. Although the fries were ok, they definitely ARE NOT WORTH the price and hurdles you have to go through to get them. Haven't felt that unwelcome at a place for awhile; Melty definitely...
Read moreWe decided to try this new place a few days ago and unfortunately it wasn't anything really to write home about. It has a great premise/spin for a niche market, and the food was hot in temperature and had good flavors, but was lacking in quantity of the meats on the sandwich. We ordered the Club Melty and the BBQ Brisket and (for the price) both had miniscule amounts of the good stuff. One of our sandwiches came out wrong (understandable - it happens), but it seemed to take quite a while to rectify and bring us a new one. The brisket had very small quantities on huge pieces of bread and was overshadowed by way too many onions - basically an onion sandwich with very little meat. Again, both sandwiches had great flavor, just should be packed with meat for the price. And cost doesn't scare us off - we would just like something substantial, and thus something to talk about. We may try another time, but not for a while - too may good sandwich competitors that add the meat! Remember the classic Wendy's commercial "Where's the Beef"? This is it! (The fries were...
Read moreWe went to Melty tonight as a family and we were surprised there weren’t hamburger options for kids. They have kids meals of chicken, mac n cheese and grilled cheese- but when I asked if we could just get a plain cheeseburger they said no, they didn’t offer that (I think it’s a training issue) because eventually what they did was charge us full price for one of the burgers with lots of toppings, then just removed the toppings and that was the only way to get a plain cheeseburger- so for a 2 year old and an 8 year old we paid $10 each for just the plain burger, that wasn’t very good. My burger was fine, definitely made to order which is nice, and the fries were really good. Would love to see an option for a kids burger or even a way to customize a burger (which we were told you couldn’t do) without having to pay for items you’re...
