Taco Bell — Restaurant in Port Lavaca

Definitely do not go here unless you are desperate. Horrible. Took over 40 minutes to get an order. Made us sit at the speaker for over ten minutes saying no wait! We are getting situated. Wtf? Situated? Then was like is the order on the screen correct? And when we said there's nothing on the screen they were like hold on you can't pull away until the screen is working. It was very weird and obviously I mean it's Taco Bell so we already knew it wouldn't be professional LOL. Then we get up to the window and they act like we did something wrong because their timer was going off. Well when you leave somebody sitting at the speaker for that long what do you expect?

So we were already iffy on leaving the window without the food and parking in the front but since we already paid for that much food in the mobile app we went ahead and did it. And that little boy who runs the food out and shoves it at people as hard as he can better be glad he didn't do that to me. I'm sure someone will shove him back eventually.

And then of course you know food was missing. So had to go back through the drive-thru again because their doors were locked. Anyway wow. I don't even usually write reviews but looking at the reviews here I think a lot of people leave this place thinking what the heck. I worked at Taco Bell when I was 16 and we were slammed all the time. I mean it's really not that difficult of a job. And we got there two and a half hours before closing. They kept saying they were slammed and we were the only people there in the 40 minutes it took to get our order...

TERRIBLE! Placed mobile order, arrived 20 minutes later and went through the drive thru to pick up. On the speaker, they said they were having "technical difficulties". I said ok I'll pull up, and she yelled NO!! You have to wait until it shows your order on the screen. I waited about 10 minutes, and nothing. Finally I said, I'm just going to pull up to the window. I get to the window and she hands me my drinks and tells me to pull to the side and they would bring it out. I said, no, I'll wait here. She said OUR TIMER IS GOING OFF, YOU CAN'T WAIT HERE! I was over it and just went to the side. Then a guy brings out food out and shoves it at me! Didn't say a damn word to me! I parked and went through the order to ensure it was all there. Low and behold, several items were missing. (Nobody in line the entire 30 minutes we were waiting) I drive back through the drive thru, and told them I had items missing. They gave me what was missing, but made it seem like MY fault. NEVER EVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS WILL I GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN! RUDE, UNORGANIZED,...

I love me some Taco Bell, and was excited about a location opening up in Port Lavaca, but this location has absolutely struggled to provide.

I initially attributed it to growing pains from recently opening, but they’ve been open for 3 months now, and it’s rather obvious that this location has a major management problem that needs to be ironed out.

They are constantly understaffed, leading to them having to consistently close the lobby, often times without signs posted on the door. Walk up and tug on the door only to find out it’s locked.

They are consistent with being out of certain items, and if you happen to customize and your order, you can expect a high possibility of your customization being ignored (i.e. if you order no lettuce, you’re likely going to get lettuce).

I hope they can turn it around, but it seems like there is one issue or another at almost every visit, and it’s making me seek...
