Read moreThis park was formed during the construction of the Casco Bay Bridge. It is a grassy rectangle less than 100 yards long and maybe 20 yards wide. I have seen people sunbathe, play catch, exercise dogs, do yoga, read, nap and just hang out here. A wide concrete path switchbacks under the bridge to a picnic circle and Commercial Street. As I ran through the part of the path that went under the bridge, there were 3 homeless people sprawled out on the concrete path literally shooting up drugs as I ran by. The drugs were out and the needle was in someones arm as I passed them on this narrow concrete path.
