Hello there, Patrons, and Chairs, of Providence, and people mingling and shopping at Providence Place Mall.
I lived in Providence, as a student, for, in and around 8-12 months on record like 15 years ago.
You know that school, I spent time in town. Over the hill, the best people, change we can believe in, the audacity of hope, I lost my books, and my hoodie, not in hate, but they're gone, but I'm a dropout.
I used to walk around Providence at night in the evenings. The Indian's and Chinese is great, side by side at the food court. I prefer JC Penney's in NYC. I get people to shop for me sometimes, family and friends, you can check me out on my Insta for looks.
Over time, I graduated, online helps, and a Satellite Campus in India, DU, St. Stephen Nai, and Webster St. Louis, where I met the real thing, Candymen, opposite. Something Gender. Like, the Men had boots once. But Christina Aguilera, she's a Candy Girl isn't she? I survived that education also. Made it.
What a time we live in. A lot of crazos. I love Brown U. A lot of sweet memories not gone. A lot of regret. My love for Providence, and it's sunsets in Autumn and the cool evenings, even the Snow, is unreserved.
Providence might be one of the most beautiful towns in America. Do you know, it's getting better? I follow close. I'm in with some powerful people in America, and England and the U.K. So I know that, and you must feel that. They're saying it's a generation though. What's that, light, and life, and I'm a sufi, let's say, and pan faith.
I recommend to you, Rumi and Hafiz! And Avril Lavigne. 2 Rivers. Never Sk8er Boi. I'm always here. Walking from North Thayer, by Hope College, down, the hill, the river, wind in my hair, wondering what to eat, looking at the women (this was 15-20 years ago), and they were gorgeous, and the men, so handsome.
I love also Barnes and Nobles. It's great. The night I dropped out, I purchased a Joel Osteen book. Read half. You know that destiny. Someone there. I made it, with luck, some family, the other side of the world.
I wish well, for Providence. I'm on the Amtrak. I think, I should have gone to Boston. But that's a counterfactual. My life's great. Slow, I've lived, loved, lost, made it in LGBT. Haven't we all. And I'm a bit sad.
Q'est que c'est. Je suis Canadienne! Corazon les femme now. I'm crying. Send for them, the Empire, tell them, I called. A Providence, RI, whole and complete, 2035 A.D. A vision. Not mine.
God be with you, Bhagwan, Ishwar, Allah, Some Sufi stuff, I'm a vaguo.
I was a Zara, at 19, now, I'm a Uniqlo. it's just sideways :)
This city's the best.
You know that.
Signed, Dhruv, Sir of India, and Providence, and...
Read moreI have been coming to the mall since I was a teenager. I have worked in the mall for a little over 2 years now. It was before I was about to clock in and I was in the parking garage smoking cannabis like any other normal person does on a daily basis in Providence! A Parton complained about it to the “ Property manager”, because her daughter could smell it coming out the doors; mind you I was all the way at the bottom garage.
I literally was sitting down minding my business and listening to my music, when the property manager AGGRESSIVELY APPROACHED ME IN A HOSTILE MANOR! HE WAS EXTREMELY ABUSIVE VERBALLY TO ME, right out the gate. He went on and on about how it’s not a good look to be smoking in the outside garage and that it was private property. Which I understand. I told him I worked in the mall and he threatened to “trespass me” from going into the mall period! I was visibly in my work uniform! He then continued to VERBALLY AND MENTALLY ABUSE ME THE WHOLE ENTIRE CONVERSATION.( HE TRIGGERED MY PTSD AND ANXIETY BIG TIME). Until I just had to eventually walk away, for the sake of my job. THIS GUY WAS A TOTAL POWER TRIP! A tall white older man and a tall black younger man both circled me! The security guard was on guard stance the entire time as if I was being aggressive in any way , which I was not! At first I answered his questions but then told him I was done answering questions and was walking away. I put my blunt out grab my stuff and went on my way. I personally don’t appreciate being treated like this especially by security!
This was the first time I have ever had a bad experience as a mall employee personally ! Long story short this isn’t the first time I have witnessed the mall security being overly aggressive towards guests and employees! Again I have worked in the mall for 2 years and have seen a lot! I tried to see if there was a grievance form online to express my concerns...
Read moreCan we say Defamation of Character.. I was profiled by to Hispanic security guards that were talking to a Hispanic girl working in the Macys Sunglass department. I brought in a pair of sunglasses that I received as a gift from my mom. I had the original tags on the glasses, the box and case they came in. I tried a few pairs on and chose to exchange my sunglasses for a pair that was 208.00$ more expensive. The shorter security guard said "we don't leaves tags on in this store; however I know that is false because the Macys employee said that's not true, and I have purchased multiple pairs a glasses from Macys and they always leave the tags on, especially for a gift. He then said We are keeping these."" The girl looked completely bewildered and the other heavy set security guard said can u call your mom. lol replied yes, but what shall I tell her. "Moma you know the 340$ shades you got me that I said I loved, well I haven't worn em and not feeling em." Absolutely not!
My mother has been a macys cards holder since 1981... I reached over the counter to grab my merchandise and left the store. From there tweedle Dee and tweedle dumb followed me through the mall and said I had to leave for trying to exchange stolen merchandise. They were calling me a criminal with absolutely no proof whatsoever! That is the definition of defamation! I was so upset I was speechless. Between my watch and chain I was wearing more than the two awful bored Hispanic security guards make in a year. Not pumping my tires but not...
