Anthropologie notifies me my pickup order is ready a little after 10 AM. I get to the store at about 11:30 AM. There is a sign on the door that says closed for cleaning. This seems like something we should have done before opening, and not immediately after opening but okay I’ll wait. I use Anthropologie’s website to notify them I’m here for pickup. 20 minutes goes by and nothing. I take a peek inside. There is no one inside cleaning anything. I call the store number and no one answers. I try this repeatedly and no one answers the phone. At this point, I call corporate to explain the situation. He says that he was able to get in touch with the store and that they were occupied and would bring my order out in about 30 minutes. This is after I explained that I had already been waiting for 30 minutes. I tell him this is unacceptable. I call corporate back and get a different representative who tells me there is nothing they can do except cancel the order or reschedule it. This is around noon on a Saturday.

Not only were the pieces beautiful, they were also 20% off an already reasonable price. Here’s where I really want you to pay attention: MEGAN AND HER TEAM WERE EXCEPTIONAL IN THE ART OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! Someone please give this young lady a raise! She made sure that we got the full 39 pieces we were looking for. Not only did she take them to the front counter for us, she and her team carefully wrapped each piece and packed them securely for us. They also helped carry the large haul out to our vehicle! I cannot express how rare this kind of customer service is and how impressed I was by her cheerful demeanor. Read moreI went to the store on 7/19/24 around 12pm, one of the female cashiers (dark hair) at the register went out of her way not to apply my birthday discount to my entire purchase because some of them were on sale. The thing was that both the computer and online store accepted my birthday code on full priced and discounted items. Eventually I let her did her thing and only applied a code (not my birthday code) to the full pice items. I do not know why the store/that cashier tried so hard to charge the customer more while the online shopping and the registration computer applied my birthday code to both full price and sales items.
