Best donuts ever!! I first had a donut from Top Pot at my children's elementary school during my volunteer shift for book fair. The reason I got to try the donuts at this time was because one of the PTA ladies called Top Pot to get doughnuts for the volunteers, turns out Top Pot actually donated the doughnuts to our school! So that night I did some research on the company, found out that Top Pot doughnuts is a Seattle based company & supports our communities!! They also donated a few gift certificates to our school for a raffle we have every year to raise money for events, supplies, field trips, etc. So after learning about this amazing company I had to go visit & get more delicious doughnuts, their cafe's are very beautiful & have great service to match!! My favorite thing about Top Pot doughnuts is that they stick to "regular" doughnuts & have perfected their recipes. Other doughnut shops have gotten out of control with outrageous concoctions that cost an arm an a leg, that don't taste that great if your not used to that kind of thing. Top Pot doughnuts have a great variety without going crazy & really have perfected the recipes, they have the best tasting doughnuts I've ever had! To make things even better I can actually afford to take my kids there knowing no matter what my kids pick out I won't have to give up a limb to pay the bill .. LOL I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for a Top Pot doughnuts to open up in...

Read moreI don't think these guys get enough credit... TPD may have the look and feel of a chain - but they are privately owned and local as local gets! If I recall they opened up shop in the early 2000s right here in Seattle's own Capitol Hill. Since then they've expanded their footprint to have many locations throughout the greater Seattle area and the one thing I respect is their consistency of service and quality of their products. Best doughnuts ever? debatable as it's all a matter of personal preference but most consistent? I wouldn't hesitate to say yes. My personal favorites of theirs is the old fashion doughnut, not sure why but each donut shop typically has one type that's great, specific to them. And TPD's old fashion is where it's at. Great consistency, not overly sweet and the perfect density in every bite. Great shop and love that they are...
