Carhartt — Local services in Renton

The store at the Renton Landing was clean and well stocked. I was greeted by each staff member and the security guy which made it feel welcoming. I browsed around the store and a super guy Chris kept following up on me, making sure to answer my questions and even talk shop. He pretty much helped me get an entire outfit for me to work outside - Canvas hooded jacket, pullover hoodie, 2 pocket shirts, 4 pants (he recommended the Steele pants for year-round and warm lined duck pant for cold), and 2 work socks. Chris showed me these Carhartt composite toe boots, which I might get later when my boots wear out. He found the sizes I needed to get without leaving the fitting room. He radioed Jose that I was coming to pay. Jose was another friendly guy who already put all my things neatly in the bag and suggested to get a matching beanie, to which I said next time. When I walked out, Chris and the guard there wished me happy holidays. Overall one of the best shopping times I've had, I will definitely come back again to this well-oiled machine. It has taken me 4 months to leave this review! My daughter and I went to this location when we were evacuated from the Kelowna fires. It had been 1 week since we learned we lost our home. We each left with a small carry on of clothes, so we went to see what we could find. We found more than I can explain. I found the jacket my husband had just purchased last winter, which I was thrilled about. Then I found a bright pink hoodie not in my size, but the kind staff went and found one for me. The poor girl probably thought I was nuts when she passed it to me and I teared up. It was the first thing I purchased that I wanted to purchase (it has all been necessity, not pleasure). The manager learned from my daughter why I was an emotional basket case, and was so kind and helpful and loving. I will never forget how we were treated, and will forever be a customer! I went in to purchase some FR clothes for work, and this store was great. I instantly was kindly greeted upon entering, and the staff was able to point me directly to the right area. The store was very clean and organized. I also wanted to order some additional pants to have delivered to my house, so I asked an employee how to do this. The employee Sky was able to help me get everything ordered and paid for to be delivered. After my purchase on the way home, I realized I had to change my order. Once again, Sky was able to go above and beyond to contact customer service to cancel my order and then order me up the right amount over the phone.
