I gave them 5 stars previously but unfortunately I am having to decrease my rating after the last couple of visits. Tonight especially was disappointing. We came on a Monday (it was completely dead), and to my dismay, I left my debit card at home. My kiddo was starving and wanted a snack for the movies so I approached the concession stand asking if they take contactless pay. They do not. Annoying in 2022, but that's fine. I asked the guy at the front whether the Regal app let's you buy concessions, telling him I could download it and buy them that way. He looked at me like a deer in the headlights and had to ask four Co- workers before getting an answer. Everyone was just standing around doing nothing, gossiping, looking annoyed when a customer had an actual question (mind you, there was no one else in line). His answer was that he "thought so". I had a very grumpy 7 year old at this point, so I figured I'd give it a try. After downloading the app I was pleased to see that I could order concessions through it, though limited. I ordered a popcorn and a large soda, paid, then brought the emailed receipt to the guy at the front to retrieve my concessions. He basically told me he didn't know if I could even order concessions that way and he'd have to check (again). Once again every single person was annoyed, slow, and didn't know a thing about it. He ended up having to call someone in upper management to ask, and I had to stand around waiting. The whole time I felt like a huge inconvenience and no one offered to help me with anything. All said and done, the entire concession nightmare took 25 minutes, and we missed our previews. No one acknowledged this or attempted to make it right. I get that most of these kids are high-schoolers, so I'm as patient as I can be, but since when are basic customer service skills not a necessity at these types of jobs? I've always loved Regal and plan to return and change my rating in the future. Hoping these kids can be properly trained on the basics of the app and learn some basic human decency...
Read moreI appreciate the managers helping me change our tickets to an earlier time because we both got called in for work later that afternoon. However when it came to ordering snacks through the app .. I was a bit disappointed.
I ordered some treats and a drink on the app in where I was notified to make way and pick up my order. It cost $23 and some change. I gave myself about 5 minutes in case time was needed for everything to be ready for pickup and then made way to grab my order.
When I went to get my order my drink was the only thing ready and when I asked for the rest of it showing the two girls the receipt for snacks they told me to grab it. The problem was, there were four things and I wasn’t 100% sure where anything was or what they were (my order was for a friend and myself). I needed help and asked where some of the things were but all I got was a finger pointed to the snacks saying “it should be over there” and another response from an additional staff member of “oh I don’t know what that is” .. so I just grabbed whatever, showed the three staff members what I took so they knew what I was taking and left annoyed.
I thought the whole point of ordering through your phone was to avoid the wait, like a quick pick up and go to avoid missing the movie .. I was wrong and really...
Read moreWhen you come from Southern California it takes a while to understand a mall like The Landing, but once I started to work there I grew to love it. It has wonderful surroundings, plants, flowers, good parking lovely stores and restaurants, fun things to do for the whole family like Painting Ceramic pieces, it's right across from Boeing, there is a bus system going through and it connects with several freeways, but while you're there you couldn't miss the Movies. I find The best movie theaters around anywhere I go because I LOVE MOVIES!!!! Lately I've been taking myself to the movies as a routine every Saturday Matinee. This last Saturday I saw a movie for free because Regal sent me a coupon for a free movie in a 4 day period. I loved going and there's nothing to me like watching a movie.
