I never expect too much from a mall food court, but Burger Dive nonetheless met the bar for high quality and was surprisingly and disarmingly delicious. Service, food, and atmosphere were all top notch. Right off the bat I want to tell you guys this might have been the best cup of chili I’ve ever had. Seriously. Instead of ground beef, they use chunks of stewed beef that were not only tender but also flavored exceptionally well. I was taken aback. Some home cooks might certainly do better, but this was definitely on par. Same goes for their house dry rub wings: some of the best I’ve had. They were crispy and seasoned well with what seemed like a combination of lemon pepper and other cajun spices. I’m in the minority since I prefer wings on the overcooked side, but I still have to give props for how well these were cooked: just to the point of being juicy and tender with a light, crispy, golden, well-seasoned crust. Hats off. My only gripe is that I had to wait for longer than I thought I would have to. And I didn’t like having to give my phone number to be called when my order was ready. Speed of service is definitely something they can work on. But if you don’t mind trading time for quality food, you won’t be disappointed. Service people were friendly and seemed proud of the work they do. There’s definitely a good team behind the counter, at least when I went on a Sunday afternoon. Be prepared for a bit of wait, but deliciousness is on the other side. I didn’t try their burgers or seafood items, but would expect the same level of care and quality went into those too. I have no qualms giving 5 stars here. You can’t go wrong giving this place a try.

Staff was super nice, took our order quickly and told we'd be texted when it was ready. The text came within 5 minutes and all our food was ready. I got the house burger and my companion got the onion burger, both were good. The onion jam was very flavorful and the burger patties had nice crispy edges on both burgers. We opted for the chips that came with the burgers but the fries looked good on a tray at the table over from us. The entire potluck food court was pretty dead for the dinner hour but, it is covid times and the mall closes at 7pm right now. Anyhow, food was good for if you're already in the mall, but I wouldn't rush there just for a dinner out. Pro tip: you can access the potluck food court from the outside of the mall if you enter up by the movie theater

I had the nacho burger and my wife had the wedge burger and the Jalapeño cheese curds. We were both a little disappointed. The burgers were fine, I guess, but nothing special. The chips on the nacho burger might not have even been there, as they got soggy under the guac. The guac was uninspired, bland, and a little brown. The burger and bun were fine, but the burger certainly didn’t live up to its exciting premise. The cheese curds were bad. I’m pretty sure they come from a bag, because they didn’t have the “squeak” of fresh cheese curds. They were also underdone…. The cheese wasn’t quite melty and the breading was just soggy and not crispy at all, so the dominant texture was just oiliness. They were quite off-putting and we ended up throwing most of them away.

They definitely did their part to make the place as Covid safe as possible and it shows. There are even dividers on the bar to keep people separate.

I love that their menu is limited because what they do is done well.

I had the onion burger and that was bomb. It was simple but had some depth that really worked. I expected the burger to come with fries or a pickle, but it comes with chips. Wasn’t clear on the menu but thankfully I got a side order of fries for $3. They definitely keep the fryer nice and clean because the fries were perfect.

The lobster roll is good! It could use a touch more salt but the citrus/lots of dill they use is great. I also REALLY appreciate they put it in a container and not directly on the bun for takeout.

A bit expensive for the serving you get and considering they call it a dive, but definitely a tasty burger! I will definitely give this a...

Burger Dive is a pretty standard neighborhood dive bar in appearance and attitude. The place is clean and bigger than I thought it'd be; they also have a cute, small patio in the back. The excitement here comes from the food: we started with the deviled eggs and an order of the jalapeno cheese curds; both were very good and the portion sizes are more than fair for the price. We both tried the house burger with bacon, and it was excellent, especially for the price. Everything worked well together, the house-made pickles are a nice touch. We also ordered a large side of fries, they're very similar to McDonald's except they're crispier and definitely saltier (which I like, salt is the best). Can't wait to stop back in to try some of their other burgers/sandwiches--really...
