I haven't been to Discovery in years and wow the other reviewers weren't kidding about the targets. I used to go there specifically to shoot the hay bales at long range and now they've been replaced by a bunch of really torn-up commercial bag targets in 4x4 frames. Some of them even have steel mending plates on the corners. So basically if you miss the target you break your arrow. There's also nowhere to put your own target if you bring one now. Who thought this was a good idea?

Bring back the hay bales. These new targets suck. I don't bring new people to shoot now because they wrapped them in 4x4s and they ruin arrows. You got rid of 13 good targets and replaced them two that are full of wet cardboard that are...

Overall a good spot to shoot. Don’t come on a hot day in the afternoon, there are no shades. I recommend come by mid day before it gets too hot. Also bring your target. The only few is there $5 for...
