As a huge fan of Katz’s Deli in New York, every pastrami sandwich inevitably gets measured against theirs. The New Yorker Deli is the closest I’ve come outside of New York—so close in fact, that it’s now my #1 choice simply because I don’t need to book a flight to New York to enjoy an excellent pastrami.
The bread was toasted perfectly—crispy on the outside, soft inside—and the pastrami itself was ultra tender and rich with flavor. Their Pastrami absolutely holds its own against the best.
I also tried the chicken salad, which was equally impressive. The ingredients were fresh, the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the balance of flavors worked really well together.
Even though I ordered takeout, the service was fast, the restaurant was spotless, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The attention to detail, quality, and customer care really sets them apart.
If you’re craving a true New York–style deli experience without the trip, The New Yorker Deli is a must-visit.
FYI, the restaurant is in an office complex. Don’t let that fool you, if you do you miss a treat.
Hint: The restaurant is on the right side of the building. If you come into the complex and turn left to park, know that you’ll have...
Read moreWas on vacation here a while back and decided to give this place a shot. Looked quite nice other than it could probably use some maintenance. Sandwiches were okay, but I could make the same thing at home for half the price and wait half the time. what was unacceptable was the guy in there was flirting with my wife!!!!! Just plain creepy. Here's an edit since i just seen the guy replied. It's funny that u can see how unprofessional he is in the reply. Also funny he talks about my social media following when he has only 48 reviews half of them probly begging his friends to give him a 5 star. As for a refund. It looks like you need it more than me so u can keep the money;) and as for you being the only male working there? Ya sounds pretty fishy pal u totally dont flirt with them. Cope harder. Second edit. I only give bad reviews to ones that deserve it! Flavio! Ur creepy my dude and it's funny how u think ur doing sumn ur just looking wierd on your own business. Hella defensive your wife probably on...
Read moreHad to give this place a try since its one of the closer breakfast/lunch spots to my work. I saw a review about their Bayside sandwich and have to agree that it is definitely one of the best buffalo sandwiches in the area. You won't be disappointed. The flavor, the hearty portions, just everything was fantastic, and the taste was delicious. I even had the other half for dinner! Well worth the $18 price tag imo.
Very clean and quiet area, but lots of seating inside and a nice area outside. It's not too difficult to find if you follow the signs and picture more of an office building entrance.
I did get one of their coffees and found it terribly sweet unfortunately. I won't knock a star for it since. to be fair, this place is a deli sandwich spot at the end of the day! Just wanted to give a bit of caution to any coffee...
