This is been the most beautiful Garden that I had visited. This is a cactus heaven. The place is immaculate. I was extremely impressed how well keep and take care of is, Everything is so clean and plants looks very healthy. Everything is labeled so you can really enjoy and learn about native plants. They have small river with small fish and 3 windows where you can enjoy the underwater view. The place have swings so you can enjoy small break and the view is pretty amazing. Hiking trail are really easy. If you get to the top you will get to enjoy a spectacular view of St. George Town and the gorgeous mountains. It is uphill but not difficult. Few parking spaces, main one is at front and the other ones are close to the Hiking trails. I was really impressed too about the operation hours, wich are fantastic so you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset. If you go early you will have more time to enjoy other beautiful places. They have special holiday decorations for everyone to enjoy. Definitely a must to go place in st. George Town. Family friendly. Pet friendly (kind reminder, pick up after your pet please! and keep them on a leash) Restrooms are clean. Handicap accessible. Free for everyone Really close to town

Beautiful garden with an amazing variety of local drought tolerant plants. There are several single stall unisex restrooms at the entrance and a pavilion, very convenient for all visitors. There are also water fountains near the restrooms. Maps are available at the entrance which are very handy to find your way through the garden, especially during the heat of the day. There is a beautiful waterfall, steam, and dinosaur tracks located in the garden. There are bench settings and various shades areas to stop and test along the trail. Definitely worth the time to explore. Takes approximately 30-60 minutes to walk through depending on how involved you are, all of the plants have identification signs, very helpful.

It's free and it's pretty. Perfect for a last day of our visit in St George. Relax as you walk through the garden seeing well maintained grounds. One things that looked not maintained is fish tanks (can't see through the glass) and the little stream was too cloudy compared to last time I remember seeing it. But the garden, plants looked beautiful and well cared for. We saw gardener that was caring for a cactus and digging out baby shoots, he offered couple to us to plant at home. Which was cool! There are water fountains to keep you hydrated and swings where you can just relax and unwind. We let our kids (teens) climb the rock behind the garden while we walked through the garden. Pretty but free = win.

Mood - WOW

This particular day trip haunt was not prepared it was very spur of the moment lets see what shenanigans I can get into. This place quickly came up when I was at the bottom of the hill engaging in conversation with a couple that came from Michigan about their sights they just entertained.

When you are driving up the hill you see this massive red rock formation that is overlooking the mountain. Such beautiful colors everywhere. Quickly parked the car hopped out and I heard all of the water flowing. Immediately I knew I wanted to see what this was all about.

This garden Oasis sits on about 5 acres and has an 1100 foot stream that flows all through- out the entire garden. There is a miniature slot canyon you can walk through, bridges to walk over, and stones to get you from one side of the stream to the other and dinosaur tracks that are over 200 million years old. Even wonderfully perched swings are adorned at the perfect height to overlook everything this garden has to offer.

One thing I was very fond of, all of the plants are water efficient and drought tolerant. It gave me many ideas for my yard. Everything is separated into different sections with educational signs about all of the plants that are housed there.

Would most def recommend - even if to just unwind and take in something beautiful. The scenery just blew me away. Plus it is FREE. There are bathrooms there as well. The grounds were very...

It is a beautiful garden that features water conservation in landscaping. There’s a wild variety of plants, trees and flowers. There is also a stream that is home to some of the areas endangered fish like the Virgin River Chub and the Spine dace. The stream flows into viewing tanks where you can spot the fish. A replica slot canyon provides some escape from the harsh sun in the summer. Bench swings are perched around the garden. It’s a beautiful spot to get a panoramic view of the city. Wheel chair accessible only so far. Amongst the sandstone paths are gravel paths that we couldn’t take the wheel chair on. Beautifully done in collaboration with the Washington County Water Conservancy District, City of St. George and the Virgin River Project. Fun for all ages! Send the kids off to find the dinosaur tracks, they...
