For starters, I absolutely LOVED sea life. Me and my boyfriend went on August 25th to celebrate his birthday, and we had an amazing time. I had my service dog in training with me, who is only two years old and obviously still a baby. His vest and everything makes it very clear he is still in training. We went into the gift shop for sea life after to get some souvenirs, and the guy working the cash register approached us and started asking questions about my dog, which I don’t mind at all. I’m always willing to educate people on service dogs. Me and my boyfriend were in the back corner of the store, and the employee kept creeping around the corner of displays getting extremely close to me and my service dog, causing my dog to get very uncomfortable being cornered. With him still being in training, as I made very clear upon entering the store, he barked and continued to back up into the corner. The employee continued to yell, “HEY. WOAH,” scaring my dog even further and causing him to back up more and get defensive. Not only was he continuing to come towards me and my dog, but he continued to talk to him, distracting my service dog who is medically needed to focus for me. My service dog never once made any advancements towards the employee, or tried to do anything but hide behind me. We were about to check out when we heard him talking to another customer saying, “I have a pitbull, and he’s NOTHING like that.” This completely ruined my mood, so me and my boyfriend set down the stuff we were going to buy and walked next door to the Lego gift shop. We were looking around, minding our business, and my service dog was right by my side where he was supposed to be. The employee from sea life then came into the Lego store, and grabbed an employee and started saying, “Be careful of that couple, that dog tried to ATTACK me, and I didn’t do anything. And he just tried to attack me,” which isn’t true at all. He distracted a medical alert dog, and then continued to harrass us after we were made uncomfortable and left. I am extremely dissappointed in the uneducated staff members that are hired and will not be returning. I felt discriminated against because of my service dog, and I shouldn’t feel like that in any...

I recently visited a really amazing aquarium and I couldn't wait to share my experience with you. Trust me, it's definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the area!

Upon entering the aquarium, I was immediately captivated by the vibrant colors and the lively atmosphere. The place was teeming with a variety of marine life, from the smallest clownfish to the majestic sea turtles. The beautiful displays and well-maintained tanks truly showcased the wonders of the underwater world.

One of the highlights of my visit was the breathtaking underwater tunnel. Walking through it felt like diving into another dimension. I was surrounded by mesmerizing schools of fish of all shapes and sizes, gracefully gliding above me. It was a surreal experience, as if I was actually swimming alongside them. I even spotted a few stingrays gracefully gliding by!

What really impressed me about this aquarium was their commitment to conservation and education. They had informative signs and interactive exhibits, teaching visitors about the importance of protecting marine life and preserving their habitats. It was truly heartwarming to see the effort put into raising awareness and inspiring the next generation of marine enthusiasts.

If you're a fan of marine mammals, you'll be delighted to know that there were even dolphins and seals performing in their own designated areas. It was a joy watching them exhibit their natural behaviors and tricks. They seemed happy and well taken care of, which was a relief to see.

The aquarium also had a great café with a panoramic view of the ocean, where I enjoyed a delicious meal while taking in the breathtaking scenery. It was the perfect way to relax and soak in the overall experience.

In conclusion, visiting this aquarium was an absolute delight. It's a place that clearly cares about the well-being of the animals and the education of its visitors. I highly recommend checking it out if you have the chance. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

I hope you found this information helpful, and I truly hope you're able to visit this remarkable aquarium soon. Let me know if you have any questions or need any more details. I'd be more than happy to help.

Take care and talk...

This place is absolutely beautiful and soothing. My two daughters had originally wanted to go see fishes at an aquarium but I’ve been reading reviews and many people mentioned they’re either not well taken care of, or the animals look unhealthy or the environment has an odor. A tour guide at the river walk in San Antonio had mentioned a brand new Sea Life exhibit opened at the Rivercenter Mall. I looked into and loved how well it’s facility is maintained. Plus the reviews had me sold as well. The day of the excursion we had our two girls (3 & 6) and a 4 month old, you line up and if you have your tickets the friendly staff scans you in. They instruct you to not use flash photography and to follow the arrow paths. You take the elevator down, and it’s like you’re in the ocean. You get your family pictures are taken before going any further, this keeps the fishes safe. The exhibit plays soothing ocean music, the lights move as if you’re underwater and there’s all kinds of sea life in different huge tanks. My girls were so involved in finding the fishes they knew about while also listening to the interactive characters on the touch screens. Within five minutes my 4 month old was asleep because it was soo calming and peaceful being there. We had fun and enjoyed learning new things about eels, sea horses, stingrays, sharks, starfish, etc. Towards the end you go collect your family pictures. Unfortunately my eldest who has autism decided to leave the middle and moved to the side which caused the photo shop to hide most of her body. We had taken it 4 times but the best one was the one with everyone smiling so I spoke to the kind and understanding young lady there. She tried her best to put our eldest as close in the picture without the image getting distorted which I appreciate. While the picture was getting edited our kiddos played in their indoor playscape. They were having such a blast that they didn’t want to leave. We truly enjoyed this family experience and would definitely return...

Its a 3 because of the employees. This is really a little kids kind of thing but i would have given it 5 stars still. I initially went for LegoLand but the girl says, "We ran out of Legos. " i said, "i don't know what that means. " She just stood there silent. So i said i wanted a combo ticket to go to both. She says again, "We ran out of Legos." So i then say,"So, we can't go on because there's no more Legos?" To which she says yes. I said, "ok, well i have never been here. So you saying 'we ran out of Legos' doesn't tell me anything. I didn't know that we needed to buy Legos to get in. " She stood there silent and i just got the tickets for sea life. She gave me the tickets and says, " ok go that way". Doesn't point to which direction or even look in any direction. So at this point i just told my kids that we'll just figure it out. So we just walk to where there's a bunch of people cluttered up together where there's another lady just screaming that there's no bathrooms so they needed to go now. She's in front of elevators and everyone is just kind of standing there not sure of what to do or aware of who is actually in line until a lady with a stroller said that they were separated bc the strollers go down on the elevator and the area to the right was for people just walking down. We go down and its ok. The kids enjoyed themselves and that's all that really matters. It was aethetically pleasing. Id rather have spent the money and just gone to the zoo. It was nothing that i would pay to go in again. Very underwhelming. They had an interactive screen for the kids to see digital images of the sharks and fun facts posted throughout the tour. Alot qr codes to look up stuff yourself. It ended with a little place to touch some sea life and starfish. The soap didn't work or was out. The trash for the paper towels was overflowing. There was a playground for the tiny ones on the way out before you get to the gift shop.

As the weather didn't encourage spending time along the riverwalk, this aquarium in it's mall basement location provided an escape from the weather. I did my research and found a discount. Military and local resident discounts available. The tanks are premium quality in design and cleanliness, animals did not appear stressed or ill. Most of the tanks are fully visible to a tall walking toddler. They all have a small tablet sized screen where you can view information about the animals on display. I would prefer a more visible static information panel as some of the displays were around the corner from the tank or in use as they can only be used by one individual at a time. I disliked that many of the exhibits lacked a simple point of reference to know what you're looking at as I watched many unknowingly look over the main animal of the exhibit because they didn't know it was there. Additionally the octopus was a difficult animal to find in the especially dark exhibit and could greatly benefit from a photo reference or how to find panel. I really enjoyed the sting rays as well as the tunnel aquarium. We lucked out and got to see the sting rays during feeding time. The SEA LIFE associate feeding shared information about the animals that I wish was displayed more accessibly. I was a little sad to not see a jellyfish during the visit, but that's not why I placed 4 star review. I feel that the location could provide a better education delivery or have a floating educating associate to share more info about the animals/tanks. Perhaps if I knew more about what I was viewing the price point wouldn't feel so high. for example I wasn't informed about the only sea turtle till after I had passed it.
