Life In Alamo City — Local services in San Antonio

I don't often think highly of gift shop/souvenir stores so Life in Alamo City is a nice surprise. It's got a lot of merchandise from clothing (novelty t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc.) to mugs, jewelry, charms, postcards, pens to Texas food products such as BBQ rub, aprons, mitts and so on. Very neat and clean and it seems that it is family owned and operated. If you're looking for San Antonio souvenirs I definitely recommend Life...

Customer service was terrible, was there on Sunday April 9. Bought a housewarming gift and Spurs onsie, also a gift-the 2 girls wrapping the breakable Talavera are lazy idiots! They almost dropped the Talavera trying to wrap it all together instead of taking the little dishes out and wrapping them separately-too much work?! They left the security tag on the onsie! And they thought they were funny! Nice store, but sales staff...

Staff was polite. Lots of cute gifts for all members of the family. I broke a hangar and they stayed professional and helped me without patronizing me. Also the register doesn't pressure you for a tip. 6/5...
