We were celebrating my husband’s 60th with our children, grandchildren, other family members and close friends…a total of 24 people in all! Ages in our group was 8-68. I thought everyone had a really good time. We would come again. However, thing to improve is: (1) explain the yellow button and firing more clearly. Many of the New players didn’t hear it. (2) if there are loud or rude people talking during instructions, ask them to kindly keep quiet so others who haven’t played before can hear.
So, I think many of our group did not understand that you needed to hold the yellow button down while firing until 1/2 way through the first game. Again to be fair it could partly due to another group of young boys that were in the same game as we were. During instructions they were loud and rude. They made it difficult to hear all instructions. I personally asked the boys to quiet down several times in the first room.
The same group of young boys were running through maze and ran straight into a few members of our group. I found a couple of them to be bullying a couple of players in our group, too.
(3) Two members of our group had vests/guns that seem to have a problem. One of the persons asked for help and got a new vest. The other didn’t hear instructions (about calling Marshall) to ask for help and simply didn’t get to shoot the first game. He did ask about it before second game and we were given help.
So, Thank you for asking about failed unit to check it out for next player. However, unit wan’t found, may have been back in play.
Last game…some of the vests were put back in incorrect location. So number didn’t match user nick name. So, we didn’t figure out until the end of the game.
The manager/owner did hear about a couple of the vest issues and offered my 17 year old grandson a couple of passes for future game.
Again, overall experience was fun! My husband had a great...
Read moreChaos Central STAY AWAY I have been to multiple parties at Laser Quest. My twins wanted a party there, so we decided to throw it there. It was the worst experience for us and our guests, and sadly some of the guests felt so overwhelmed that they even left without spending any time. This is why? Starting when we took the package we were not informed well about the differences in the party packages and the reasons we should pick one over the other. We should have picked a party with a host. The place is a MAD house, the acoustics of the site is BAD when they are making announcements you cannot hear. When we got to the venue, no one knew what is happening? We did not have a place to keep our gifts, or food or stuff, it was weird to attend the guest and organize a locker and put our things in the fridge and figure out when people should come to get their kids and figure out what needs to be done with the kids or who is a kid in our party or not. When we finally got a party room, it was so cramped. We were told that we would have a bigger party room as we were celebrating two kids it was super narrow room, with the hostess not showing up or serving or helping out. They did not even spell our kid's name right!! Lastly, there were closets in the room, and they were unlocked, so we kept our stuff and gifts in there only to know that they had 2 sided door and ultimately our gifts got mixed up with someone else the hostesses told us we have 5 mins to leave without helping us pack, which increases confusion we could not correctly wish our guests goodbye. Overall re-living the party through this review is giving me a headache. Save your dollars and find alternative party places. Pump it up is twice as much fun for kids...
Read moreI threw my son's 11th birthday party here. I bought the largest package and it was worth it! The employees were great over the phone before the party. They explained everything very well. They called to touch base with me a week before the party and were always responsive and knowledgeable when I called with questions.
The party hosts day of the party were also great at directing the group. All of the kids and parents that participated had so much. Even my 4 year old nephew was able to participate with the help of his mom. They had a cute vest for him. They explained the rules and equipment very well, and all of them worked. The room where the game was played is huge with multiple floors and ramps going up and down. Both adults and kids had a lot of fun.
The party room was huge and accommodated everyone. The restaurant they partnered with had delicious food. My son is allergic to nuts, soy, and seafood and all the food were allergy safe. The cake from cold stone was delicious and was allergy safe too.
Overall it was a great experience...
