San Diego Beach King — Attraction in San Diego

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! I am unable to leave a review on my Hotel website so leaving it here.

We spent $750 a night for an Oceanfront unit in Mission Beach.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE Location wonderful view

Overly tight Parking caused rental car damage Memorizing three different punch codes stressful Thin window screen ok during the day but see through at night. Freaky people being able to see you with the shade down. No drapes.

Unit ice wet cold at night with no space heaters. Knobs missing on wall heater so you can't adjust.

Small tiny Television a Hellscape barely works very stressful. A $200 TV in a Unit pulling in $15,000 a month?

Shower head a joke- shower is clogged back wash which is unsanitary and could cause a Staff infection.

Blender broken

Buffalo stomper cleaners all morning starting at 8am above to wake you up.

The lighting is terrible.

Washer dryer squeaks loudly.

The couches are uncomfortable to sit on but ok for sleeping on.

Dishwasher doesn't clean dishes or soap doesn't dissolve- not sure which

The ABSOLUTE WORSE was the ceiling fan at random unprovoked while you are sleeping turning on full blast and spewing air all over the room.

The patio was nice listening to the waves.  Also nice to walk to food.

Beach King needs to improve...

Spend 5 days 4 nights at the Ocean Front beach house in unit 4 on the second level. It was absolutely beautiful. Very comfortable with a very nice view. Beds and couches were comfortable. There were dishes and cooking utensils for pretty much any meal. We brought all of our own food and the kitchen was a dream to use. The TVs were nice and they had board games and books. We were right on the boardwalk and enjoyed people watching. My children are now 17, 21 and 23. We were here 12 years ago when they were 5, 9 and 11. It was just as nice as I remember. They did a bit of remodeling since then I believe. We really had no issues at all. There were a few things that needed to be fixed but wasn’t needed immediately however Maurice came and immediately took care of the issues. We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday this week and being here to do that was great. I highly recommend San Diego Beach King rentals. I have stayed at hotels close to this house and it was twice if not triple the price per night and not anywhere as nice or comfortable. This is the place to be. The location is perfect not the busiest place on the beach nor the slowest. Tons of places to eat shop and play within walking distance. Belmont is 2 miles away. The owner and staff are people you want to be renting from. When we arrived the washer was not running water after one phone call it was fixed with a flip of a switch in a matter of minutes. There is plenty of space. We stayed in unit 4 with a family of 6, 3 adults and 3 children. We all were able to fit comfortably. Now, the magic, the view is everything we could ask for. The dolphins came by a few times durning our stay to give us our own private show. The sunrises and sunsets are such a treat. We even enjoy the people watching. Kitchen is stalked with dishes, bathroom is stalked with towels. Ralphs is a block away for anything else you may want or need. Haven’t even left and we already can’t wait...
