Came here on a Sunday afternoon for Brunch/Breakfast and were seated, we ordered our drinks, the "Aloha" cocktails which were okay but nothing to write home about. Took a little bit but we got our food and were severely disappointed. I got the chicken and waffles and my girlfriend got the Golden Waffles I believe it was called and hash browns The chicken from my chicken and waffles was about 75% breading with a very thin slice of chicken and wasn't seasoned almost at all. My friends hashbrows were lukewarm kinda like they had been sitting out for a bit in the windy weather. I ordered hashbrowns after I saw hers and it took them 25 minutes to cook some. I legitimately thought our server hadn't rung it in because when I asked for then she looked at me like she didn't hear me and then said "Yeah, mmkay." And then walked off. I made eye contact with her no less than 3 times during that 25 minute time frame, try to grab her attention and she would just walk away. We finally tried to ask another server for the bill and when my friend waved at her she took one look at my friend and kept walking away without saying anything. Then came back after 5 minutes and said "I was busy helping someone else, what can I do for you?" With a really angry/irritated tone to her voice. We asked for the bill (cause at that point we were done) and that took another 15 minutes, finally got it and our server finally came back and graced us with her presence. She took one look at my plate and reached out to snatch it and said "You're done, yeah?" (My plate still had food on it) While actively taking my plate away. I was very done to say the least. Don't come here and waste your money.
TLDR: Food is mediocre, servers/waitstaff have attitude issues and were dismissive of myself and my girlfriend when we did nothing but sit down. Waste of time and money. There are other,...
Read moreIt seemed promising when we walk in and get seated quickly with a group of 7. We got our menus, waters and silverware quickly and the server asked if we needed more time before ordering, which we did. We flagged her down minutes later to place the order. When we started ordering french toast and pancakes (3 people into the order), the server told us she forgot to mention at the beginning that a griddle was down and there were no pancakes or French toast. We were going to order the kids baby cakes because that's all my 9yo wanted and we had to tell her no pancakes. The only other option for my child who doesn't eat much was a full prize full size waffle. I asked if there's any way to honor the kid price for a smaller waffle or something and there wasn't. All good, we moved on BUT it would have been nice to know BEFORE we started ordering....we got our food and while eating our teen daughter found a hair cooked into the bacon! This place couldn't get any better. The server thankfully comped her meal. Then since we had a group of 7, 20% gratuity was already included which of course we always tip, but 20%?! That's a bit more than we thought this lady deserved so of course they got us again. Overall, we will NOT be returning. Just beware, places with good reviews are not always good! Also we didn't have any alcohol so maybe if we had been drinking everything would have been...
Read moreWe came here on our trip because we were told it was incredible breakfast food... it was not. Maybe we came on an "off" day? (It was a Saturday..) My husband's waffle was okay, the coffee was kinda burnt, my eggs and bacon seemed like they had been sitting on the plate for a while. Best part of the meal was my fruit. It was all very underwhelming.
Also a heads up if you are GF.. don't bother with this place. I asked the server if the potatoes and hash browns were GF (because they are not at a lot of places) so she asked and told me the fryer oil had flower in it or something, which is exactly what I needed to know. So I subbed fruit for the potatoes on my egg and bacon breakfast plate... only for it to be carried out covered in toast. Really? I know it's my responsibility as the consumer to be careful with restaurants. But I'm 90% sure their menu didn't say that that plate came with toast. Had I known, I would have said "no bread." Also, maybe the server doesn't know what gluten is?? Overall, it was just a very disappointing breakfast experience for all that it was hyped up to be. Slow service, underwhelming food.. I feel bad leaving bad reviews, but it was really just "meh" when we were told it was the "best breakfast in town." We went to Eggies the next morning and were much happier and spent...
