So I roll into PB Poke House after a righteous morning surf sesh, right? I’m totally starving, like, next-level hangry. I walk in and bam!—the vibe hits me like a clean set at Pipes. Chill tunes, smiling faces, and that fresh ocean energy just radiating off the walls. Immaculate, bro. Absolutely immaculate.
So I snag a plate with shoyu ahi and garlic ahi—and whoa, bro… I practically blacked out from flavor. Like, I took one bite and my taste buds threw a luau. The shoyu was smooth and salty like a perfect cutback, and that garlic ahi? Bro, it was like getting tubed in flavor. Just pure umami shred, ya know?
And don’t even get me started on the mac salad. Creamy, dreamy, and totally next dimension. It’s like… your Hawaiian auntie made it with love and then blessed it with a rainbow.
The dudes who run the place? Top notch legends. Super chill, friendly, and you can tell they’re stoked on serving quality. Real aloha spirit happening behind that counter.
So yeah, if you haven’t hit up PB Poke House yet, what are you even doing, bro? Grab your flip-flops, throw up a shaka, and treat yourself to some poke perfection.

To elaborate:
It does look nice, although the quality of the salmon and the imitation crab is noticeably lower than I think a typical Poke shop would serve. I don't understand why they are charging so much more compared to everywhere else, the only thing I can think of is that it is by the beach so.. tourist prices?
Anyways, I would not eat here again. Eating it made me feel kind of sick. I don't feel like vomiting, but something in there was definitely not fresh. My stomach is not happy with me right now
If I could say one positive thing, I guess I kind of liked the rice, it seems pretty decent. That's probably not the greatest compliment, but it is hard for me to think of something else.
Yeah, I'm very sorry for the bad review, but I don't think I'll eat here again. Even if, for example, a friend offered to pay for a bowl here, I'd give it a...
