Blue Ocean Spa & Nail is by far my favorite salon in San Diego! Especially because of their new tech,Mina, who is an absolute gem—professional, meticulous, and incredibly talented. Every time I visit, she takes the time to listen to exactly what I want and delivers flawless results. Whether it’s a classic acrylic with intricate nail art, or the perfect gel set, Mina’s attention to detail and precision are unmatched.

Not only is her work impeccable, but she also creates such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. She’s warm, friendly, and truly cares about her clients, making every appointment feel like a treat. The salon itself is clean, welcoming, and always up to date with the latest trends and techniques.

My wife had a good experience getting her nails done so she signed me up for a 1 hour body massage. I have had massages all over the world while traveling and this one was one of the worst I have had. She spent appx 45 min on my back from my upper waist to my shoulders. She spent about 5 min on the back of my legs from the knee down. She spent another 3-5 min on just my neck and about 3-5 min poking my buttock. She never had me turn over on my back the whole time and she never touched my head other than my neck. I know she used some type of cream but it didn’t feel anything like massage creams where it allows the masseuse to slide their hands along your body, it felt more like no cream and at no time could she slide her hands, it was more of a jerky, pushing motion. Blue Ocean nail spa is the best. I have been coming to this nail salon for years and I still I drive all the way down here from caramel Mountain Ranch. I will drive multiple times in a single week to get my nails and my lashes done because they do a better job here than anywhere else that I’ve ever gone for either service. I’ve had most of the ladies have done my pedicure, and they do an incredible job and I always go to Natalie for my full set, refill, and eyelash. I would fly across the country for Natalie to do my nails and eyelashes and I’m not even joking when I say that. I don’t mind sitting in traffic and driving up to an hour to come to this nail salon because they are the best and I never want to go anywhere else. Highly recommend.
