Solid choice for lunch or after work drinks. If you're into fried chicken, check this place out. Victory Hall is the larger restaurant space while Little Skillet serves the same food from a to-go counter. Victory Hall also serves all food in to-go containers, so even if you order inside you can get up and leave anytime you need. They serve a mix of things, from chicken and waffles to po'boys to breakfast items. The fried chicken is definitely their bread and butter. When I strayed to a po'boy one day, I wasn't thrilled... the fries were good and the crispy catfish on the sandwich was good, but there was too much bread, not enough stuff, and overall the flavor just wasn't as awesome as their chicken. I definitely had food envy as I watched others tear into their crispy wings and drumsticks. Local tip: come early or late. The line wraps around the block from about 11:45pm-12:45pm.

They've done such an amazing job with the space! I remember when it used to be the old 330 Ritch spot. It's more classy/beautifully decorated but still has the hometown feel. I stopped by for drinks and appetizers - both of which were delicious - and can't wait to come back for a meal. There's a lot of space to sit inside and out and a back room you can reserve for parties. There's also space for a DJ/band, as well as a beautiful mural depicting a Filipina woman dancing. Definitely a spot to check out!

Great atmosphere, cocktails, beer selection, and good southern comfort foods! You can't go wrong with fried or blackened chicken- both are flavorful and juicy! You can pick either if you're getting one of their salads which are both very good. The mini corn muffins are also always a favorite to get here with the honey butter. 😋 Very cool space with great staff. They also have some free boardgames on a shelf by the entrance. We've also been here for a trivia night once which was fun

Food & Drinks: Good Service: Sub-par

Generally I enjoy this place’s fried chicken dishes and selection of beers. It’s a solid place to have a drink and catch up with a friend over some unpretentious fare.

However, the FOH staff puts in bare minimum effort. The kitchen staff is usually solid, but the bartenders usually fluctuate between apathetic, oblivious, or flat-out rude. One weekday night I was there catching up with an old friend and the staff started cleaning up for close around 11pm. I used to work in the service industry so I appreciate working ahead of your shift’s end. However, despite closing at midnight these guys starting putting up chairs and closing us into a corner as early as 11:20pm. We finished our last sips and walked out at 11:40pm (remember, Google says midnight close). On the way out after paying over $100 in food/beer we hear sarcastic “thanks you’s” and cheers when we finally are out the doors. We had quietly had our beers in the corner for our couple hours, and the ungrateful sendoff was a sour note to end the night.

Takeaway is that the bar staff is inattentive and selfish while the food is pretty good, and that they should learn how to...

Cute enough space and okay food/drinks, but nothing to write home about. I don't mind digital menus but the ordering system is severely and unforgivably lacking. I put in my order for a beverage before people sat at the table next to me and during the time I was waiting for my drink, this group had two separate rounds brought to them. I am unsure what the issue was because my drink populated in the app as it was supposed to (based on how it looked compared to the screen of the person I came with, who also had their drink well before me despite submitting orders at the same time). The place wasn't even half full, so not busy. Eventually I came to the conclusion that serving other guests was not the problem and had to go ask for my drink. To me, having to go up to the bar to ask for a drink I ordered 30 minutes before is completely unacceptable but also completely unsurprising when there is no dedicated server. If I was confident I wouldn't have been charged for the drink, I would have canceled it and left sooner. Will not be back. There are too many other great places in the city to patronize and this place just wasn't competitive on any...
