The Nest is a hidden Sarasota gem on the waterfront. Well thought out and right next to bay and the Van Wezel, it has walking pathways, seating areas, large, open, common grounds, a small sand beach with seating, a playground, clean modern facilities, including a cafe, and lending library. it's a perfect place for a short walk or to walk the dog or just enjoy the sunset over the bay. they also have daytime events like yoga, music, and other activities. Don’t normally comment- but shady people. Didn’t show us the tip option on the iPad- just clicked the 12% button in addition to the 10% auto grat. When confronted - they said “hey that’s just how it is here” - I had to press them multiple times before they admitted they do it to everyone- it’s just “easier”- and so he gave us our 6$ cash refund
