Dream Earth Bowl Cafe — Local services in Sarasota

Please play some music so we don't need to hear the young staff complain about working and hearing the squeak of shoes as you're trying to enjoy a bowl. The prices are a bit pricier considering the topping and portion sizes. I opted for the million dollar bowl and asked the staff questions to which they replied "honestly I don't know," not a big deal to me but might prevent other customers from upgrading their bowls. I waited about 20 minutes for my bowl but the teenage girls made it very vocal that there were "too many online orders" and prioritized those over the three people in the lobby. The inside had potential to be cute but it's your typical "instagram" inspired cafe that has a neon sign and metal barstools to sit on. Uninspired but trying is the best way to summarize this place. Not a place for locals but great place for visiting folks with money to spend. I would've taken photos of the bowl but the lid took off majority of the toppings and the bowl was so over filled that it was leaking..not very photogenic. I asked for the bowl "for here" hoping not...

I am giving 5 stars because this place is truly so fantastic, although I have to say there is a worker there named neveah Whom has the nastiest attitude like she hates her job. Everyone I’ve ever met whom has worked there has been great but not her. She even sat there and cursed and yelled at the other girl to make the smoothie because She didn’t know how to make a smoothie without substitution, which was a little silly. She continued to sweep and curse Under her breath and in disregard of helping her coworker Kalee. Neveah should not be working there if the only thing she knows how to do is sweep. Thank you Kalee for keeping your attitude professional to match this establishment. I went out of my way to write this so whomever needs to correct this behavior does & I only Know their names because I asked for this purpose. A bad apple still doesn’t take away how great...

I come here every morning for my fresh breakfast bowl before I start my day. The fruit is absolutely juicy and fresh. The flavor in the bowls is just mouth watering. No other way I would want to start my work day than with any of the bowls they offer. My favorite is the açaí . The owner is so wonderful. Her customer service is as if she was your teenage best friend. She’s very sweet and friendly to everyone welcome each and every customer into her life. This is a work place I thoroughly enjoy and I know you will too if you visit here. I’m a long term customer returning day after day which speaks volume for a small business.
