Read moreThis is a nice park on the waterfront near the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. It has restrooms and a boat ramp with ample parking. The big attraction for us as we come here every time we're in Sarasota is watching the pelicans in the little inlet beside the park. They rise out of the water and dive back into it catching a fish for a meal nearly every time. After they've done that a few times, their feathers get too wet so they sit in the sun to dry them.
