Angle Lake — Attraction in SeaTac

Name
Angle Lake
Description
Angle Lake is an L-shaped lake in SeaTac, Washington, United States, occupying 102 acres between Interstate 5 and State Route 99. The lake most likely was so named on account of its outline, which forms a right angle. Like nearby Lake Burien and Bow Lake, it was formed by the glacial retreat roughly 12,000 years ago.

Angle Lake and Angle Lake Park are two beautiful attractions in SeaTac, Washington. If you're flying into Sea-Tac Airport and staying in the area, you should visit this place. The park is perfect for walking, picnicking, and having a BBQ, while the lake is great for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. There is a small boat launch where you can launch your boat. Only battery-operated motors are allowed. Fish species, including trout, bluegills, and perch, and some people have spotted coit fish. They are beautiful and should stay in this lake.

Can be a good spot to fish for stock trout. You may also see a random baby duck depending on the time of year

It was amazing! The water is supper clean and clear. I love how there's a sand part and then the big grassy area. The water park is prefect for little ones. The only thing I didn't really like was that there was no stairs to get out of the water onto the dock. So maybe if there was like 2 or 3 spots where there was stairs to get in and out of the water that will make it easier. So we don't have to get out of the water to walk all the way around just to jump off the dock. But other than that this is one of the best places to...

I do love this lake and walking path, it’s usually not crowded when we arrive, and I always choose the more secluded “grotto” area to swim in. It’s peaceful, warm, with beautiful views. Unfortunately, last summer my daughter got a long nail lodged into her foot while standing in the lake, which is my reason for giving it 4/5. I don’t know what kind of maintenance is given to the lake during Covid, but it’s something for people to...
