We came here after a flight into SeaTac on a whim since it was Cinco de Mayo, and because I was craving a torta. We arrived, and it looks pretty plain from the outside, but inside is a nice, well-lit, and clean (if well-used) little restaurant. The menu had a lot of different options, considering that most Mexican restaurants have a bunch of variations on the same thing, tacos, burritos, etc. etc.
I got the torta with fries and a piña-flavor agua fresca, and the other people in my party got a chimichanga, the wet super burrito, and a quesadilla con carne, and we ordered chips and salsa for the table. I can say confidently that the torta was one of the best I've had; it wasn't fancy, but it was really delicious, and pretty large and therefore filling. The fries were pretty good, not the best, but they were crispy and freshly fried. The chimichanga was, according to the consumer, "probably the best [they've] ever had", and the quesadilla was "definitely close to the top". I'm assuming the burrito was also very good, considering the speed with which it was consumed! The chips themselves were also very fresh and lightly salted, and the salsa was chunky, spicy, smoky, and fresh, on top of probably being made in-house. To finish it off, we got some churros (the flan was out of stock, sadly), and to my pleasant surprise, they were filled with dulce de leche, something that I've never experienced before. Because of the filling, they weren't at all dry like many other churros I've had, yet they were still crispy on the outside.
Overall, this little shop was filled with pleasant surprises, and I can definitely recommend it as a great place to get a fresh meal served fast after a...
Read moreI needed food right after landing and checking into my hotel. I was hesitant to spend the extra money on delivery in case it wasn't good so I went in. I showed up 5 minutes before closing hoping to get food (and ready to beg haha) and she did not even look annoyed like most others would. She was genuinely happy to help me. She also helped a guy who walked in at closing! Talk about service with a smile :). I got the chicken enchilada and chicken chimichanga combo served with rice and beans and ot came with a generous helping of guac and sour cream with some lettuce/white onion/tomato mix as well. It was excellent and I will for sure eat here again. I would like to see smaller portions for chicken enchiladas, the only I saw was 3 and that is a bit much for me. Maybe I missed on menu though and doesn't affect my rating at all. I love to support small businesses from my original home town and any city I am in. She could have easily turned me and the other guy away after long day. Genuinely nice lady and good food...and did I mention quick? What more can you ask for? To the lady who helped me, thank you so much for the good food and great attitude, even at 9 on a...
Read moreI'm not sure how this place has such high ratings, that's why I ordered from them and theydidn't have such a long wait time! I ordered the Ranchero Taquitos plate and was very disappointed when it arrived (through Uber Eats) the food looked nothing like the picture they advertised, which has taquitos, what I received looked more like a two bite spring roll from Panda Express (which honestly are probably better then what this place calls a taquito). The taquitos had no flavor, the chicken (if that's what it really was) was so dry and disgusting, I don't know that I would give it to a dog. The rice had a really weird fishy taste to it. I would not recommend this place, save your money and just go get Taco Bell!!
The only good thing about this experience was the Uber guy was friendly...
