This taco truck might just be my financial downfall — I’d seriously consider flying the 12,903 kilometers (8,018 miles) from Australia again just to get another taste. Everything about these tacos is right: the seasoning is spot on, the pickled vegetables, the meat is cooked perfectly, and the double tortilla’s holds it all together without fuss. It’s soul food done so damn well, and that’s what makes it so hard to forget. Honestly, Seattle locals should be talking about this place the way people talk about good coffee or a favourite bakery. It’s not over the top, just really satisfying. If you’ve had them once, chances are you’re already thinking about the next time. I know I am.

Their tortillas are amazing and definitely homemade. The chicken enchilada was incredibly marinated and spiced and didn’t need the cheese others flood their enchiladas with. I generally can’t eat cheese and I asked them to leave out the sour cream and light on the cheese. They said they don’t flooded in cheese. It’s just got some sour cream and dry Mexican cheese (cotija?) on top of it. It was amazing. It was a good portion too. It was really delicious. I think it’s the best enchilada I’ve had. The picture is of most enchilada already eaten, but I thought I would put a picture. GReat gluten free options. Really fresh.

Found this little gem within walking distance of our hotel. After reading a lot of great reviews, my girlfriend and I decided to get lunch from here and bring it back to the hotel. We both got a chicken macho burrito. The burritos were huge! We both finished the entire meal and were completely satisfied. They included napkins, plastic ware and some hot green sauce on the side which I loved. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
