I knew this place would be bad, but went anyways as it was near my buddy's hotel. I can stomach bad food when I'm hungry, but not this. To start, our server knew nothing of what drinks they had, which were not on the menu. It was happy hour, so he got us a happy hour menu which had been folded up and didn't look like something you would touch without washing your hands afterward. I've seen some overpriced drinks, but even at happy hour, was pricey. $5 a beer, mix drinks from $7-12. I'd hate to see what it was off happy hour. Drinks took a very long time, and never saw our server much. The bartender came and took our order. I had a dish of flank steak with enchiladas. Which came out COLD. Okay, not cold but room temperature. Everything, besides refried beans which were a little warm, but no where near hot. Tasted horrible. As hungry as I was, I didn't eat more than 2 bites of the enchilada and 2 of the flank.
I don't write reviews much, but this place deserves the worst review possible. Do yourself a favor and drive a couple blocks away and get Taco Bell. I'm dead serious, if you want to spend over $30 just to go somewhere else, go here.
So the short: Cold food Inedible Expensive...
Read moreHad lunch at Las Palmas (Salvadoran) while waiting to pick up somebody at the airport (SeaTac). Had a chicken taco salad and 2 pupusas (1 chicken & 1 pork). Portions were large and delicious. The salad was fresh and the chicken was well seasoned. The salad was served in a tortilla shell and was done perfectly. A lot of places don’t serve the shell anymore. The pupusas were larger than I was used to so ate them with a folks vs folded like a taco. They were hot and well seasoned. Service was excellent. I’m sorry I didn’t get the servers name, but he was friendly and attentive (but not too attentive). It is a fairly large dining room with a bar. Very nice decor…I was surprised because the exterior looked a bit like a storage building. Overall a great experience band would...
Read moreThe food was outstanding. this is a Salvadoran restaurant I believe and a great experience for the variety on the menu and for the service which was also excellent. The margaritas are terrific and I had for my main course a skirt steak that was done to perfection and flavorful and one of the best I've had in years at a restaurant. I recommend this place to eat it's very casual it's got very little atmosphere but the food makes up for everything. Not much to look at from the outside not much to look at from the inside but again I went there for the food. Located not far from the Seattle airport and within walking distance of several of the hotels on International Boulevard. It is certainly on my list of go back to when I...
