((((((WARNING PROPER SPELLING AND GRAMMAR MAY NOT BE USED IN THESE MESSAGES.)))))) please just get pass that and focus on the topic. Thank you. There is no problem with the actual park it's self other then the trash that was everywhere. That's why 3 stars. I guess we get what we pay for and This Spray Park is free to the public, courtesy of the city of Sea-Tac. And with that being said, they hold sole responsibility for the safety of the public and the cleanliness of this spray park. I personally feel the city of Sea-Tac deserve 0 stars for failing to make sure it was and is always clean. Especially with any type of material that could Cause a health hazard. .....I know asking people who use the park, to keep it classy is a little too much to ask from some people. However asking to keep it clean should not be such a big issue. Today I brought my two children, niece and nephew to play at the angle lake spray park for the first time since its been built. During my time at the spray park I watched a little girl step on and kick what look to be a piece of plastic of some sort. Not until I got up and walked over to the water spout squirting from the ground did I see that it was 1 half of a plastic tampon applicator. Being completely grossed out! I started announcing this disgusting findings, to surrounding people, along with pointing at it to draw awareness so no more kids would step on it. This purple, plastic tampon applicator was in the wide open play area and easy to see. so I know that I wasn't the only one who seen this. at least 1 or 2 of the 400 other adults that were there today had to of seen it at some point. Why did nobody else think that this was a nasty issue and dispose of it? (And to the people that did see it and did nothing about it, SHAME ON YOU.) As soon as I figured out what it was I was trying to figure out how to pick it up and dispose of it quickly and properly as possible. I found a piece of a plastic shopping bag laying on the ground (believe me it wasn't very hard to find trash laying around here) and I pick that up walked over to the purple plastic, picked it up as I walked towards the garbage, right there AGAIN in plain sight as the first part, lays the second half of the tampon applicator. So of course I picked that half up and disposed of them properly. I am typing this today because I felt my issues needed to be heard. normally I do not write any kind of review or what have you.but this is something that is such a health hazard and completely unacceptable that I couldn't just let it go. I know it may be pointless to say but I am going to anyways. (Btw If you are the person that though putting your tampon in the middle of a children's water park was on any level okay, let me be the first to tell you how wrong you are. That is so far beyond nasty that is makes the word nasty seem so preschool compared to what you did today. You need someone to teach you proper hygiene. I cringe thinking about what your home might look like.). Let's all do our small part to keep public places like this clean for everyone. Clean up after yourself! Period!! plain and simple, simple and plain. Or keep up and the cities will be forced to start charging for every park built. To pay for extra employees that the cities have to hire, to clean up after grown adults. If filth is what you enjoy and it makes you happy. Hey do your own thing I am not here to judge. But it's not for everyone as you should know. so please keep your filth at home and to yourself. I am sure most would agree that cleanliness works...
Read moreUpdate: please DON'T feed the geese & ducks 🚫 👎.while i was swimming in the middle of the lake I observed a lady in religious garb (not a nun, something else) arrive with armloads of bread crumbs & started feeding the birds non-stop for 30 minutes ⏰. Soon after she started, every single bird was in the shallow swimming area. She was still there when I returned to shore and I chastised her saying "it's NOT good for the birds, nor for the beach to feed them, " She didn't say much - just walked away. C'mon people. Its common sense AND a park rule to NOT feed the wildlife 👎.Unfortunately, There's only one sign that I saw in small letters that says "no feeding the wildlife". I encourage city officials to post bigger signs. Or if you're a patron of the park and you see somebody feeding the wildlife assertively say something. DON'T start a fight but just be assertive. ** The fun little Park near Sea-Tac Airport and also gets very crowded at certain times - sometimes you won't be able to get a parking 🚗 spot but if you do you can enjoy the splash pad for your kids or go swimming 🏊, kayaking, or fishing 🐟 from the dock etc , altho I don't know if anybody ever catches anything. It's a beautiful Lake - water clean...
