When I went to Tayler for my first three sessions I went in with chronic pain from the past 7 years. I had some very angry adhesions around my glutes, calves, and IT band from years of sprinting and jumping in elite level volleyball and basketball. I suffered an Achilles tendon rupture and still have some scar tissue around the site as well. I have purchased various percussion and recovery tools and have seen an innumerable amount of massage therapists and physical therapists and they were unable to to provide me with the precise treatment work that I needed. I am an educator who has not been able to engage in the Weekly Warrior games and activities that bring me such joy and peace for years.
Not only is he a phenomenal therapist, but heās a pretty cool, laid back yet firm dude. Tayler listened to my needs and used multiple methods throughout his session, ranging from: functional neurology work to help resolve longterm physical and emotional trauma/damage, cupping along my back and thighs, to gua sha which really helped get into my scar tissue. The massage tied in with the proprioceptive work really helped release and relieve years of pain, and I was able to go home, reflect, rest, and receive another treatment later that week.
Once again, the combination of methods and Tayler talking me through everything really helped me feel confident about my recovery. I was able to move laterally, sprint, jumprope, and perform stats and lunges without any pain. My muscles were fatigued from not being activated in such a long time, but there was no pain. I was able to play some pickup basketball for 2 hours and was amazed at how well my body was responding to my movements. I rested for a couple of days and played again for about 90 minutes and I am still feeling strong and healthy. After a few more treatment sessions and hoop sessions, I believe I will be moving without hesitation on and off the court. Just these results alone have increased my confidence and has improved my overall morale because it has been such a long time since I have not been in pain. Itās still strange to me, I canāt really explain it. For years I felt aches and pains in each step throughout the day and it was always in the forefront of my mind during explosive plyometrics workouts.
I will continue to see Tayler and tell anyone about him who cares to listen. If you are looking for 5* quality treatment, please give him a call or send...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTayler at Level Up Massage Therapy is one of my most trusted and professionally invested healthcare providers. First, just check out his āMy Educational Journeyā section under āMeet Taylerā. His dedication to learning and growing is what sealed the deal, for me. His expertise is reflected there and his services page defines the benefits for you. As a person who has experienced abuse as a child and now works in the healthcare field, including having spent five years in the Emergency Department at a large hospital, I really tune in as to what kind of person and provider someone is. I donāt live close to his clinic, but I would drive across the state to see him, if thatās what I had to do.
He has treated so many injuries and issues in my joints, soft tissue, etc. and the results have always been amazing and sustained. Beyond this, I learned about a modality he offers called P-DTR aka Functional Neurology. The results surpassed any expectation I could have ever had. I thought it was hocus-pocus stuff, but it is quite real! I had a life-long habit of grinding my teeth which ceased by the end of the first session and only came back intermittently after that. Now, three years later, I rarely do it and can quickly stop myself. That means I experience virtually no headaches these days! I had a lot of behaviors or reactions that had lingered since I was a child which I was finally able to be free from thanks to him. Iām excited to be going in for a ātune-upā this week. I donāt have anything specific as I breathe and feel at ease these days thanks to him. But, I know I always feel 100% well when I leave his office and I always love going to see him. He provides so much in addition to massage therapy, including things like cupping and gua sha and intra-oral therapy, too. He is very hands-on with his practice and Iām always comfortable with how he does business.
So, I just wanted to leave this review and say that if you have stuff that youāve been holding onto for a long time, you should check out this great practice. Thanks, Tayler, for creating long-lasting ease in my life and helping me at my darkest hour in such a professional and unexpected way. I wish primary care practices had one of you at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI cannot say enough good things about Tayler! He is very kind, professional, personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping his clients achieve results. His facility is always clean, tidy, and welcoming. I always leave feeling so relaxed and free from tension.
I work at a desk, and carry the majority of my tension in my neck and shoulders. In an effort to seek relief from chronic migraines that I was experiencing, I started seeing Tayler in 2018. After receiving a handful of regular monthly deep tissue massages, the frequency of my migraines decreased significantly, and my range of motion throughout my body increased. I have tried other massage therapists, but they come nowhere close to achieving the results I get from Tayler.
One of the main reasons why I choose to continue to see Tayler is that he is constantly looking to improve his skills and apply new, effective techniques to his practice. Since I began seeing him in 2018, Tayler has incorporated gua sha and cupping into his practice, both of which yield great results. One day, he asked if I experience tightness in my jaw muscles (which I do), and offered intraoral massage (something he had just learned) as a solution. While it may sound like a strange experience to those who are not familiar, the results I get from intraoral massage are immediate and have brought so much relief into my life, that we now try to incorporate it into each session. These days, I experience migraines so rarely, which I truly attribute to my regular sessions with Level Up Massage.
Tayler has also kindly provided me with tools that I can use at home - recommended stretches, cupping, and CBD tinctures - which have prolonged the results I receive through massage. I am grateful that he has a variety of CBD products to choose from, as they have proven to be very effective for reducing tension and relaxing my muscles between sessions.
All in all, I cannot recommend Level Up Massage enough! Whether you are looking for relief from tension and pain, or are simply looking for a relaxing massage, I encourage you to book an appointment through...
