Pro Nails — Local services in Seattle

I am not one to turn "Internet Hero" with leaving hostile reviews, but honestly this experience warrants a fair warning to other potential customers. I stopped in for a shellac pedicure and received the absolute suboptimal pedicure and service. The nail tech did not add anything (spa salt, etc.) to the way too hot water that normally is apart of a pedicure to begin. I had to ask three times for the tech to cut down a nail after he hardly grazed a file over the tips of my toe nails but indeed rubbed my skin on the knuckles of my toes raw. The massage component in the chair shook my iced coffee off the arm table and it spilled all over the floor. The tech quietly cleaned up it but offered nothing else. The shellac color is fine and he seemed to take care with the skill of application to be fair. It seems like they really do not enjoy their jobs and are just churning the day through. I've been coming to this location for pedicures for years and was always pleased with the results. However, today was a different experience. I took my boyfriend's daughter to get a manicure. She wanted spiders or spiderwebs drawn on her nails for Halloween. We asked the woman if she could do it and showed her a picture and she said she could. She paid absolutely zero attention to my boyfriend's daughter. She did not clip or file her nails. She painted them alternating colors of black and white. She went to two other same aged girls and fawned over them and offered them lollipops. When I asked her if she would be drawing the spiders, she said flatly "No". Even though I had shown her a picture of what we wanted and she agreed, she just kept saying "No". I finally said "Can you please just paint all her nails black?" I had a horrible experience and will not be back. I rarely write reviews but my experience was so bad that I felt the need to. I arrived for my appointment about 30 minutes early, with the plan to wait. They got me in early but then told me that they didn't have time to give me what I wanted. Once I told them that I would leave, they decided to provide me with what I asked for. I told them I didn't need my nails filed. (My nails are very long and filed nicely.) As I was looking at the lady doing my toes, the other lady cut my fingernail, but I asked for a paint job and cuticle trim only. After screwing up my nails, it got worse...She did such a poor job painting my nails that it looks like they have already grown out, yet I got them done yesterday.
