The menu at Veggie Grill is a vegetarian's dream come true, offering a diverse range of mouthwatering options. Eager to sample their most popular dishes, I decided to indulge in their famous wings and house veggie burger. Each bite was a flavor explosion, leaving me in awe of the culinary expertise behind these delectable creations.
The wings, a signature dish at Veggie Grill, were an absolute delight. Crispy on the outside, yet tender on the inside, they were perfectly seasoned and coated in a delectable sauce. It was a true testament to the fact that vegetarian cuisine can be just as satisfying and flavorful as its meat-based counterparts.
The house veggie burger was equally impressive. Nestled between a soft, toasted bun, the patty was packed with a medley of fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices. Every bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, providing a wholesome and satisfying experience.
What truly sets Veggie Grill apart is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients. Their menu features a variety of plant-based alternatives that are not only delicious but also nourishing. From hearty grain bowls to crisp salads and flavorful wraps, each dish showcases the natural vibrancy and richness of vegetables.
The service at Veggie Grill was exceptional. The staff members were knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful suggestions and answering any questions I had. They ensured that my dining experience was smooth and enjoyable, with prompt service and attention to detail.

Read moreVegan food is hit or miss. I get it. However, it won't be relevant to my review because I've been vegan for 10 years and I've been coming to this restaurant since the summer of 2021, which if you remember, was a very difficult time for restaurants to be operating at their full potential.
At the time, despite circumstances, the food was reasonably priced and of pretty good quality. It wasn't a Michelin star restaurant experience by any means, but you got what you paid for.
I know what you're thinking, you're seeing these thousands of glowing reviews thinking some cynic is just trying to get attention. I'm here to tell you as a relatively regular customer that something has recently changed.
Some items aren't what they used to be. New recipes, new portions, etc., the food is not the same. So, I looked into it. After a change of ownership and a complete menu overhaul in July 2025, the experience, at least at this location, has plummeted dramatically, primarily in the quality of the food, but it doesn't end there. Cleanliness and general upkeep seems to be slipping too. Half the tables were visibly unsanitized. The only water fountain dispenses water in drips. No one was filling their cups up more than 1/5 a glass at a time. And the worst thing? I was here over a month ago and the water wasn't working then either. This still isn't fixed?
Onto the food. All our food came out a half hour after we ordered. Our fries were stale. Maybe some of the worst fries I've ever had. How do you screw up fries? They clearly sat out all day. The rice was old. The broccoli was completely overcooked. I swear if I didn't know better, I'd assume our meals were prepared by inexperienced 10 year olds and not food industry professionals, but that would be unfair to the 10 year olds.
I was only able to continue eating because I was hungry and didn't want to waste the food, but unfortunately, you pay before you eat. Otherwise, I'd have left. In fact, I wish I had a time machine to go back and tell myself I was about to make a terrible mistake. Hopefully it's not too late for you. Take the other reviews with a grain of salt. They aren't dishonest, but their relevancy wanes more and more each day.
Again, this is a restaurant I have loved. I'm not just disappointed because of what the quality is now, I'm upset because of what...
Read moreWe are vegetarians so we were excited to try this Vegan restaurant during our trip to Seattle on 7/17/2018. However, my entire family of 4 was very disappointed with the food.
First, the food was kind of expensive ($12.95 for a Veggie Burger / $11.25 for a Sonoran Bowl / $11.25 for Nashville Hot Chickn' Sandwich / $10.95 for a Mediterranean Salad - we ordered 2 quantity of this last item). I didn't mind over-paying for food if it tasted good. Who charges $13 for a veggie burger with fries? I can totally understand why someone would go to McDonald's or Burger King and pay $5 to $6 for a Burger (Veggie Burger or a Meat Burger) rather than pay $13 at The Veggie Grill.
Second, all 5 of the items were very BLAND. My 15-yr old daughter didn't want to eat any more of her Sonoran Bowl after the 1st spoonful so she ate the Veggie Burger since it had SOME taste (unlike the Sonoran Bowl which was very bland to me and my wife as well). I added some Tabasco sauce, salt and pepper to my food to make it somewhat palatable.
Third, the portions were on the smaller side as well. Especially since we paid $11 to $13 for each item, we expected portions that would be enough to fill us up. But that wasn't the case. It's not like I'm a big guy who needs a large volume of food to fill me up. I'm a small build and I didn't find the food to be enough in quantity.
The concept of a Vegan restaurant is wonderful. But the execution leaves much to desire. Unfortunately, I don't think I would go back to The Veggie Grill for above 3 reasons (expensive, bland and small portions) if I visited California or Seattle again. I was really hoping for a positive experience but we were all disappointed. I haven't been to other Vegan restaurants but I hope they are better with respect to...
