This used to be such a great lively mall. However it's been struggling for a while now. Not many shops around. Not many people either. Restaurants are all amazing though. I would definitely recommend the Pike Place Chowder. Their food is always fresh and hot and nothing can beat how good their fried food is! Another amazing shop here is Midnight Cookie Co. It's kind of hidden, on the very bottom floor. But I think of it as a hidden treasure. Their cookies are addicting and they have so many different flavors.
I belive in this mall! I've been patiently waiting for Pacific Place to become great again. It seems that the property management of this place is slowly crawling upwards, but upwards is good! They've added some new stores and there's so many events. The events are usually not very busy but they got the best dj. To be honest I didn't enjoy many activities; they were more kid friendly activities. But when I heard the dj, I stayed.
Recently, it has been very disappointing though. A lot of good shops closed down. I come here pretty often for restaurants and movies, but recently it's been hard to fully enjoy my time here. The fire alarm, what seems like, has been going off 24/7. Well... thank you for stopping my movie. Can't finish your dinner sometimes either. They used to have such a strong security team and I always felt safe. These guys put themselves in such dangerous situations and were always professional. A week ago I came to go see a movie and get some cookies and I guess they switches to a different security company. All the regular guards are gone. I understand a business has to make decisions like this all the time but where are the guys that have been here for years? Do they still have a job? The new team seems confused and disorganized. They couldn't answer questions and kept disregarding me and were not at all interested about my safety concern. I came back a few times since and it seems like theres always issues going on. And it seems like the place is getting infested with barricades?!?
Pacific Place! I beg you! Be...
Read moreMe and a friend went to this mall to charge our phones and right before we even plugged our devices, this security guard comes up to us and tells us that we have to leave the place at the spot. WITHOUT NO REASON. Kept asking why and he just kept saying "cuz yall have to" and stuff like "I just got told to tell yall to go" I asked him If we were trespassed or anything and he said "no."??? So all these others strangers can chill, charge their stuff, be on their electronics etc and they didn't say nothing to them but me and my homie walk in and not even 2 minutes later get ESCORTED out for NO REASON??? He literally kept getting Hella close, even pushed the elevator button and told us we had to exit through the parking garage entrace/exit which we did not enter through and did not want to leave from as it was a whole other street than the one we came from. Of course we didn't listen and went back on the escalator and went out the front exits instead. Asked him who was behind all this, told me "I'll tell you when you're out the door" Maria Sanchez? Or something like that. The whole thing was very non-welcoming for a public mall. Never coming back here. Don't recommend it to anyone not just cause of that reason but also because of how empty it is, barely any stores, maybe one thing that actually might be a reason to go would probably be the movie theater on the 4th floor. But id still rather go anywhere else to watch a movie. Rudest encounter ever- and again, in a...
Read moreWe got a parking ticket that couldn’t read at the pay machines. So we couldn’t pay for our parking. We went ahead and went down to the garage and tried to exit, that machine didn’t work either (unsurprisingly). What we did try to do is call the number on the card, call the number on the machine, press the call number on the machine in the garage, and press the call number on the wall of the garage. No one answered once. We could not leave despite our willingness to pay, and after probably 15 minutes of calling, we go back up to the pay machines and try again. A security guard noticed us and pointed us to the direction of the parking office. The parking office guy was not in his office but instead coming back from what looked like outdoor maintenance responsibilities, which explains the missed calls. He finally took us inside to pay our fee, and there were multiple missed calls showing on the phone. When he took a call while we were paying he laughed at a customer who let him know that she can’t find her ticket. He really didn’t seem to care about the inconvenience to us, and scoffed at the woman who lost her ticket- even though he informed us tickets are a flat rate so her mistake seems inconsequential. We ended up wasting a significant amount of time to even leave the mall. I wouldn’t suggest going to this mall unless you have time to spare, and time to play hide and seek...
